Daniela Barbosa, Executive Director at Hyperledger Foundation and General Manager, Blockchain and Identity for the Linux Foundation | Aug 1, 2023 Time flies when you are making new markets. This December, Hyperledger Foundation will turn 8. The anniversary marks the date the Linux Foundation announced the project along with 23 founding members, including Accenture, DTCC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, IBM and J.P. Morgan Chase. This December, Hyperledger Foundation will turn 8 The enterprise blockchain market and technology (not to mention the whole world) has evolved immensely in the years since. And so have we. We now have hundreds of members worldwide, an extensive landscape of DLT platforms, tools and labs, seven regional chapters, eight SIGs and close to 100,000 Meetup participants in 84 countries around the world.  In 2021, we formally became Hyperledger Foundation, a name that reflected a clear identity for our organization that arches over all these projects, labs, regional chapters, special interest groups and the collective effort to advance enterprise blockchain and blockchain-related technologies. In 2021, we formally became Hyperledger Foundation And now we are unveiling a new look for Hyperledger Foundation! Front and center: an update of our iconic node logo, now with a trio of nodes that represent the foundation, its members and the global community. Along with the new logo, we have new colors that reflect our core values:  Open. Global. Trusted. The overall look and feel are designed for a mature market and ecosystem and an enterprise audience. It’s the capstone to the work we have collectively done over the last seven plus years. And we couldn’t be more excited to show you! We will be rolling our new look out over the coming weeks along with a completely revamped website that will serve as a hub for the Hyperledger community, providing valuable resources, fostering collaboration and promoting the adoption of Hyperledger technologies.  For our many community members who run projects, SIGs, Meetups and other events and anyone who taps our materials to help tell the Hyperledger Foundation story (or your own), we will be updating content and decks for you to leverage in your continued support of our community. So be on the lookout for updated resources. (If you need something urgently please send a request to marketing@hyperledger.org.) The website will help new and existing community members onboard, collaborate and contribute - and will scale as we continue to advance the market.  Hyperledger Foundation is home to the premiere open source enterprise blockchain community. And now we have a fresh look and website that is in keeping with this leadership position. The website will help new and existing community members onboard, collaborate and contribute - and will scale as we continue to advance the market.    SHARE View previous blog post Back to all blog posts View next blog post The latest community news in your inbox Select the checkboxes below for the monthly decentralized digest and dev/weekly newsletters About LF Decentralized Trust The Linux Foundation's flagship organization for the development and deployment of decentralized systems and technologies.
