Guiding students to deeply study and understand the rich connotation of a hundred years of Party history is the inherent requirement of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Making full use of the ideological and political education value of Party history resources, college students are led to deeply understand and absorb the Party's spirit of hard struggle, so as to strengthen their ideals and beliefs. In their daily ideological and political education for college students, ideological and political educators in colleges and universities should proactively use the resources of a century of Party history to help college students deeply understand the truth of history, conform to the laws of historical development, summarize the lessons learned from history, and strengthen their confidence in history. Students should realize that from the period of arduous democratic revolution, to the period of vigorous socialist construction, to the new period of reform and opening up that caught up with the trend of the times, and to the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics that has ushered in the observance of righteousness and innovation since the 18th National Congress of the Party, the Party's success has been backed up by its winning formula - self-revolution. By studying the historical laws of the Party, we can foresee the development trend and future destiny of the Party, so as to continuously strengthen historical self-awareness.
