In the context of the new era, the effective integration of red resources into the ideological and political theory courses of colleges and universities (hereinafter referred to as “ideological and political courses”) is of great significance to the cultivation of college students of the new era with firm ideals and beliefs, profound patriotic sentiments and a high sense of social responsibility. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the significance of integrating red resources into the Civic and Political Science Classes in colleges and universities, and to put forward specific implementation paths, in order to provide reference for improving the quality and effect of teaching Civic and Political Science Classes. Introduction Red resources, as a treasure in the treasure house of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, not only carries our party's glorious course, fine tradition and revolutionary spirit, but also is an important embodiment of our national spirit. Through such a teaching method, it can effectively stimulate the patriotic passion of the students in their hearts, guide them to establish a correct worldview, outlook on life and values, so as to cultivate more ideal, moral, cultured and disciplined young people for the future of the country. 2. Status and Problems of Red Culture Integration into the Teaching of Civics Classes in Colleges and Universities 2.1 Status Quo of Red Cultural Resources Integrated into the Civics and Political Science Course Higher education institutions have begun to integrate rich red cultural resources into the teaching of ideological and political courses, through telling red stories of historical significance, constructing vivid red scenes and organizing red study and practice activities and other forms, making the teaching content more colorful, thus effectively enhancing the effectiveness and infectious force of education. With the continuous development and application of digital technology, such as the introduction of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology, it has brought brand-new means and methods for the dissemination and teaching of red cultural resources. The application of these technologies greatly enhances the immersive experience of students in the learning process, enabling students to more intuitively and profoundly feel the charm of red culture, so as to emotionally resonate and further deepen their understanding and memory of red history. 2.2 Problems of Integrating Red Cultural Resources into the Civics Class 2.2.1 Insufficient Excavation of Resources In the current educational practice, we notice a remarkable problem, that is, some colleges and universities do not do enough in-depth excavation and integration of red cultural resources, which results in the potential of red cultural resources not being fully utilized. Red cultural resources, as the valuable spiritual wealth of our country, contain rich historical information and educational value, and play an irreplaceable role in cultivating students' patriotic sentiment and sense of historical responsibility. However, due to various reasons, including insufficient knowledge of red culture, lack of professional talents, and limitations of financial investment, these universities have failed to effectively transform these resources into educational resources, and have failed to make full use of the unique advantages of the red cultural resources in the curriculum, campus culture construction, etc., thus affecting the full play of the educational function of red culture. 2.2.2 Insufficient Innovative Forms Although we have seen the application of mathematical and intellectual technologies in the field of education, and these technologies have brought new possibilities for teaching and learning, on the whole, these changes have not been deep and extensive enough. Only in this way can we ensure the continuous progress of education and meet the future demand for talents in society. 2.2.3 Weak Synergy Mechanism At present, the mechanism for the common construction and sharing of red cultural resources has not yet reached a perfect level, which leads to the fact that the synergistic cooperation between colleges and universities and red education bases as well as social resources has yet to be further strengthened. In order to better inherit and promote red culture, it is necessary to build a more efficient and systematic cooperation framework, so that all parties can jointly participate in the development, utilization and dissemination of red cultural resources. This can not only promote the in-depth development of red cultural education, but also enhance the understanding and recognition of the public, especially young people, of red history, so as to form a favorable atmosphere of respecting and protecting the red cultural heritage in the whole society. 3. The Significance of Integrating Red Resources into the Ideological and Political Courses of Colleges and Universities 3.1 Strengthening Ideal and Conviction Education Red resources, which is not only a symbol of color, but also contains a rich revolutionary history and revolutionary spirit, is a vivid teaching material for the education of ideals and beliefs. By digging deep into the heroic deeds and revolutionary stories in red resources, we can let students feel more intuitively the bravery and firm conviction of the revolutionary martyrs, so as to guide them to deeply understand the party's original heart and mission, firmly believe in communism, and set up the ideal conviction of striving all their lives for the cause of communism. The educational significance of red resources lies not only in passing on history, but also in stimulating the patriotic enthusiasm and striving spirit of contemporary youth, so that they can continue to carry forward the glorious traditions and fine style of the revolutionary forefathers in the journey of the new era. The educational function of red resources is multifaceted, which can not only help us look back on the past and remember those heroes who sacrificed their lives for the interests of the country and the people, but also inspire us to cherish the hard-won achievements of peace and development, and at the same time, it is also an important way to cultivate and practice socialist core values. These revolutionary sites and memorial halls are like containers of time, preserving countless touching historical moments, telling heroic stories of the past, and filling every stone and wall with stories and emotions. At the same time, students will be deeply touched in their hearts by watching those red movie and television works that vividly show the revolutionary history and listening to those touching and heroic deeds of the revolutionary forefathers. These activities can not only stimulate students' patriotic fervor, but also further enhance their national pride and self-confidence. In addition, red resource education can also cultivate students' sense of family and country and social responsibility, making them cherish the present happy life even more, and at the same time motivating them to contribute to the future of the country. Through such education, students will learn to draw strength from history and understand the close connection between their personal destiny and the destiny of the country, thus building up in their hearts a firm belief in striving for the realization of the Chinese Dream of the Great Revival of the Chinese Nation. 3.3 Enhance the Effectiveness of the Teaching of Civic and Political Courses Red resources, because of their intuitive, vivid and infectious characteristics, can significantly enhance the attractiveness and infectious force of the Civic and Political Science course. These resources, containing a wealth of historical significance and educational value, when they are skillfully integrated into the Civic and Political Science course, not only can change the traditional single teaching mode, but also make the teaching content become more colorful and teaching methods more flexible and diverse. In this way, it can effectively increase students' interest and participation in learning, and then enhance the effectiveness of the teaching of the Civic and Political Science course, so that students can better understand and absorb the content of the course in the learning process. The Path of Red Resources into the Ideological and Political Courses in Colleges and Universities 4.1 Integrate Red Resources and Build Teaching System Higher education institutions should deeply excavate and fully utilize local red resources, and closely integrate these valuable historical and cultural heritages with the content of ideological and political education courses, so as to build an education system centered on red resources. In this way, the red resources can be classified and integrated according to the historical development, the unique characteristics of the region and different themes, thus forming a systematic and modular teaching resource base. Such a resource base can not only provide teachers of Civics and Political Science with richer and more diversified teaching materials, but also help students better understand and absorb the spiritual connotation of red culture, so that they can be inspired and educated in their thinking. At the same time, through this mode of education, it can further stimulate students' love for national history and respect for revolutionary traditions, and enhance their national pride and sense of historical mission. In order to realize this goal, colleges and universities can establish long-term cooperative relationships with local red education bases and regularly arrange for students to go to these places for learning and exchanges. In the process of visiting, teachers can guide students to carry out in-depth thinking and discussion, help them combine what they see and hear with classroom knowledge, so as to achieve the teaching effect of combining theory and practice. At the same time, colleges and universities can also invite people who have experienced revolutionary history or experts to give special lectures for students, sharing their personal experiences and profound insights, so that students can understand and learn revolutionary history from multiple angles and levels. 4.4 Strengthen the Construction of Faculty and Enhance the Teaching Level In today's society, institutions of higher education shoulder the important responsibility of cultivating future social builders and successors who are both virtuous and talented. Therefore, it is particularly important to strengthen the construction of the faculty of ideological and political courses. This not only requires teachers to have solid professional knowledge, but also requires them to have noble political qualities and firm ideal beliefs. In order to achieve this goal, colleges and universities should take a series of practical measures. First of all, universities can organize teachers to participate in red education training programs, through which teachers can learn and understand red history in depth, so as to better inherit the red gene and carry forward the revolutionary tradition. Conclusion Integrating red resources into the ideological and political courses of colleges and universities is extremely important for cultivating college students in the new era. These red resources, including revolutionary history, heroes and revolutionary spirit, are valuable spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation. Colleges and universities should deeply explore and fully utilize these red resources to build a comprehensive teaching system. Through innovative teaching methods, such as case teaching, situational simulation, role-playing, etc., strengthening practical teaching links, such as organizing students to visit revolutionary sites and carrying out volunteer service activities, and strengthening the construction of teaching staff, such as regular training and seminars on red education for teachers, the teaching quality and teaching effect of the Civic and Political Science courses can be significantly improved. In addition, colleges and universities should also pay attention to cultivating students' independent learning ability and innovative spirit, guiding students to deeply understand and absorb the revolutionary spirit and fine traditions contained in red resources, so that they can be internalized in the heart and externalized in action.
