In The Strengths Perspective in Social Work Practice (Saleebey, 1992), several authors explained, in detail, the theoretical underpinnings of strengths based practice, especially in one’s work with diverse, at-risk populations, and, in so doing, helped to move social work from a problem-focused-deficit model to a view that emphasized strengths, capabilities, and resilience.	cache/advancesinsocialwork-16677.pdf	txt/advancesinsocialwork-16677.txt
