Point-of-care diagnosis and risk factors of infantile, rotavirus-associated diarrhoea in Calabar, Nigeria	2017 .htm	text/html	3471	192	47	This finding is in contrast with our previous report where the risk of rotavirus infection was higher among consumers of water from boreholes or wells compared with consumers of tap water.19 The fact that rotavirus was not detected in children without diarrhoea suggests that asymptomatic rotavirus infection is rare. There was no statistically significant difference in rotavirus prevalence based on the source of drinking water.
