The most important, however not the only, recommendations to Myanmar on media freedom will be presented below: • Signing and ratifying international human rights documents guaranteeing freedom of expression and media freedom, such as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination, • Introduction of amendments to the Constitution of 2008, aimed at strengthening guarantees for media freedom and introducing the citizen’s right to information.	cache/tahrj-5516.pdf	txt/tahrj-5516.txt
