Water ligands are more easily displaced by sulphate than hydroxyls (Rajan 1978), and therefore Al compounds offer in Finnish soils within normal pH range more easily accessible sites for sorption of sulphate than do Fe com- pounds as was observed in the present study.	cache/afs-72245.pdf	txt/afs-72245.txt
