The studied materials included also the European rabbit (O. cuniculus) and aurochs (B. primigenius), which had a preference for temperate conditions, but they have been reported from the palaeontological sites of the Apulian Peninsula referred to the Late Pleisto- cene glacial stages, with dry and cold open environment such as Avetrana (Bed8, Petronio et al., 2008), Grotta della Masseria del Monte (Anelli, 1959), Sternatia (Rustioni et al., 1994), Grotta Paglicci (Boscato, 1994) and Cardamone (Rustioni et al., 2003).	cache/amq-122.pdf	txt/amq-122.txt
