ajet-327	Velasco, Sarah B; Villanueva, Jasmin S	Development and Validation of a Reading Comprehension Scale	2022	9	.pdf	application/pdf	6441	376	58	RECOMMENDATIONS Considering the aforementioned findings and conclusions, the following recommendations are hereby suggested: 1) Reading comprehension scale developers should always follow a certain standard and procedure to guarantee the quality of the tool; 2) Reading comprehension scale developers should also follow a validation process to measure the level of reliability of the tool; 3) English teachers may also use the crafted tool to assess if in what type of reading comprehension student belongs to; 4) the Department of Education, Division of Pampanga, may use the tool to assess reading comprehension type among students and then use it as a basis to create interventions or skill enhancement; 5) other researchers may consider this study as a reference for the same topic and/or may include other theme/s which are not limited to those that were drawn from the responses of the participants in this study. As evident on the studies conducted by Begeny et al. (2008), Cutting & Scarborough (2006), Elliot et al. (2007), Speece et al. (2010) and Vaughn et al. (2009), they have developed reading comprehension scales which were inadequate psychometrically and there are no developed tools for systematically assessing reading comprehension in the classroom.	cache/ajet-327.pdf	txt/ajet-327.txt
