Extended Mathematical Models 1. Accuracy Model: Accuracy indicates how close the sensor's measurements are to the true values. However, in real- world applications, sensors can be affected by various conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity). To account for these factors, the accuracy model can be extended as follows: 71 Journal of Engineering, Mechanics and Architecture www. grnjournal.us 𝐴 = 1 ⎸π‘₯measured(𝑝1,𝑝2,….𝑝𝑛)βˆ’π‘₯π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘’ ⎸ π‘₯π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘’ Here, (𝑝1, 𝑝2, … . 𝑝𝑛) represent various external factors (e.g., temperature, humidity) and π‘₯π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘’ is the value measured under the influence of these factors. 2. Sensitivity Model: Understanding the sensitivity of a sensor, that is, how it responds to small changes, is crucial. This helps determine how the sensor performs under various conditions: 𝑠 = πœ•π‘¦ πœ•π‘₯ (π‘₯, 𝑝1, 𝑝2, … . 𝑝𝑛) Here, πœ•π‘¦ πœ•π‘₯ represents the change in the sensor's output relative to the input signal x and other external factors 𝑝1, 𝑝2, … . 𝑝𝑛. 3. Reliability Model: To evaluate reliability, it is essential to study the variability in the sensor's output. The following equation can be used to analyze how this variability changes under different conditions: 𝑅 = 1 βˆ’ βˆšπΈβ¦‹(π‘Œ βˆ’ πœ‡)2⦌ πœ‡ Here, βˆšπΈβ¦‹(π‘Œ βˆ’ πœ‡)2⦌ represents the variance in the sensor output values, and πœ‡ is the mean value.
