(DSc) Abstract: Focusing exclusively on the upbringing of students in secondary education, preparing them for life by developing 21st-century skills, preventing infringements occurring in schools, independently solving their problems in various situations, teaching them how to deal with violence and fighting, motivational solutions to leadership, media skills, integrating global civil skills into young people is one of the issues. This article discusses the content of developing life skills in the language (Uzbek) education. Introduction Special attention is paid to the upbringing of students in secondary education, preparing them for life by teaching 21st-century skills, preventing infringement in schools, independently solving their problems in various situations, teaching them how to combat violence and combat, motivational solutions to leadership, media skills, integrating global civil skills into young peopleis one of the most pressing issues of our day. In the process of developing life skills, it is important to adhere to the following general and didactic principles: the objective, Developmental education, scientific, educational, inconsistency principles, principles of unity of education and training, the ability to get acquainted, easily to look at difficulty, simple to complex, the ability to rely on students' knowledge, and the principle of practical orientation.
