Introduction The higher education system is constantly being updated in order to provide quality education that meets the requirements of the Times. In this process, the system of tutoring, i.e. mentoring, plays an important role in the educational process of students. MAIN PART The tutoring system is primarily aimed at helping students through their studies, supporting their academic and personal development. The tutoring system, or mentoring, was created with the aim of supporting students in the educational process and helping them develop. The historical development of this system consists of the following stages: 1. Early Times. The foundation of the tyutorian system dates back to ancient times. In Greece and Rome there were personal approaches to the process of study through the relationship between teachers and disciples. Teachers worked closely with students, helping them to gain knowledge. 2. Middle Ages. In the Middle Ages, educational systems began to develop. Along with the establishment of universities, mentoring links between professors and students began to strengthen. Teachers played an important role in teaching and guiding students their knowledge. 3. New Era. In the XVIII-XIX centuries, reforms began in the educational system. With the further development of the system of tutoring, the role and duties of teachers expanded. Various universities and educational institutions are introducing tutoring programs and developing strategies aimed at supporting the educational process of students. Through modern technologies, distance education and online platforms, the system of tutoring is developing further. Through the use of this system, students will be able to develop their knowledge and skills, get help in the face of difficulties. The main goals for the implementation of the system of tutoring are that students receive assistance in solving problems in their study process. Mentors teach students skills to set their goals, manage time, and deal with stress. They prepare students for employment and career development. The tutoring system establishes close ties between teachers and students. This, in turn, creates more support and support opportunities for students. Teachers are able to better understand students and help them to suit their needs. Through the tutoring system, students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, learn new ideas and participate in scientific research. Mentors are a valuable resource for students by sharing their experiences and helping them solve the problem. Mentors help students set their goals, manage time, and deal with stress. This, in turn, increases students ' self-awareness and self-confidence. They also train students in the skills they need to be successful in the professional field. In order for the traction system to be effective, it is necessary to have a well-organized structure. This includes setting specific lists, meetings, and goals between faculty and students. The process of mutual exchange of ideas between Mentor and mentee is important. This exchange of ideas provides an opportunity for students to learn new ideas and approaches. Modern Towing Systems work using online platforms and digital technologies. There is the possibility of remote communication between students and mentors. This provides students with more extensive resources. Higher education institutions seek to strengthen ties between students and faculty by incorporating tutoring programs. This process is carried out on the basis of internal regulatory documents developed by universities and institutes. Higher education institutions are required to act in accordance with state standards in the development of tutoring programs. These programs are aimed at improving student academic achievement, ensuring personal and professional development. Finding a good mentor can be difficult, which can negatively affect student development. Some educational institutions do not have sufficient resources for tutoring programs. Another problem is that it can be difficult to coordinate time between mentor and students. In the current education system, the tutoring system is an important source of support for students. They play a large role in academic, personal and professional development. However, for the development of the system, it is necessary to solve problems and introduce more effective methods. The future of the tobacco system is directly related to innovative approaches to the educational process. CONCLUSION The tutoring system plays an important role in making the educational process of students qualitative and effective in higher education. It provides opportunities to strengthen ties between teachers and students, increase academic achievement, and promote personal and professional development. The historical development of this system further increases its importance in education and is expected to continue into the future.
