The article examines the importance of active teaching methods, modern technologies and individual approaches in the educational process. Information is provided about the activities carried out in order to introduce new pedagogical approaches to teaching the rich heritage of Uzbek national musical art, to develop student creativity and preserve cultural heritage. The article contains important recommendations to make the process of teaching Uzbek national music more effective and interesting. MAIN PART Uzbek national musical art, with its rich history and culture, represents the spiritual world, traditions and values of the people. Uzbek national musical art includes folk music, traditional styles and various instrumental and vocal genres in itself. These artworks often reflect historical events, Customs, and folk life. Many of the musical works express the sympathy, love, suffering of the Uzbek people. Uzbek national music is largely derived from folk music. For example, the work of Shashmakom embodies the culture of music in different regions of Uzbekistan. Uzbek music covers every aspect of folk life. Music is important in ceremonies, weddings, birthdays, celebrations and Other Important Events. Through music, the people express their feelings, hopes and suffering. The emotional and spiritual influence of Uzbek national music is strong. When the music is played, the audience may experience a sense of calm, joy, or sadness. This is usually due to the content, rhythm and melody of the music. Uzbek national music classes provide opportunities for students to explore national heritage and acquire unique cultural experiences. Classes should be organized using modern pedagogical approaches and technologies.
