American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 38, March - 2025 87 | P a g e THE RELEVANCE OF TEACHING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES AND THE PROBLEMS OF INTRODUCING INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS Dilorom Xoshimova Kokand State Pedagogical Institute Abstract: This article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of the process of updating methods and methods of teaching and the introduction of innovative teaching methods in the education system of Uzbekistan. To achieve high results in modern education, it is important to improve the pedagogical skills of teachers, introduce digital technologies into the educational process, introduce interactive and innovative methods difficulties, in particular, with technical and resource constraints. A number of resolutions and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on reforming the education sector are aimed at supporting these processes. In particular, the resolution of April 29, 2019 "On measures to improve the quality of education and develop the education system "[1] defines specific goals for the introduction of innovative methods of teaching and professional development of teachers. This document serves to improve the quality of education through the widespread use of digital technologies in the education system and makes the learning process interactive. In addition, the decree "Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated November 6, 2020[2] also pays great attention to the introduction of digital technologies in education teachers to develop their digital skills. Also , one of the important documents is the decree "On measures to improve the quality of education and ensure its competitiveness at the international level", adopted on May 12, 2021 to improve the quality of education in Uzbekistan at all stages from preschool to higher education. [3]The decree raised the issues of modernizing the educational process through the use of new pedagogical approaches in education, the widespread introduction of innovative and interactive methods. Although there are problems in the process of reforming the education system, such as the lack of technical resources and qualified personnel, the training of teachers in a new way, the measures taken by the state are aimed at eliminating these shortcomings. Therefore, the practical introduction of modern teaching methods plays an important role in increasing the competitiveness of the education system of Uzbekistan. In this article, the changes that have taken place in recent years in the field of education on a global scale require a rethinking of teaching methods. Although traditional methods have ensured timely learning efficiency, new approaches need to be used to keep up with the demands of the present. Introduction In the context of the current global changes, educational processes also require consistent development. The education system of Uzbekistan is no exception to this process, since the state pays great attention to the use of modern approaches and innovative methods in the field of education. However, there are a number of challenges in updating teaching methods and implementing innovative teaching methods. In the education system of Uzbekistan, there are a number of problems related to the renewal of teaching methods and methods and the introduction of innovative teaching methods. We will address these issues in the following key areas: 1. Lack of resources and infrastructure • Technological infrastructure: In many regions of Uzbekistan, modern educational technologies and educational equipment are not sufficiently developed. The lack of access to the Internet, computers and other digital devices in schools hinders the effective organization of the educational process. • Materials and Tutorials: A small number of up-to-date learning materials, e- resources and guides are available to help you apply innovative teaching methods. 2. Teacher Qualifications • Professional development opportunities: The courses and training required to improve the pedagogical qualifications of teachers are very limited. Many teachers do not have the necessary qualifications to learn new methods and technologies, which makes it difficult to implement innovative methods. • Teacher training: Teacher training in higher education institutions is not given enough attention. As a result, it is difficult to introduce new methods into practice. 3. Readiness and interest of students • Student motivation: Students' interest in innovative teaching methods is low as traditional teaching methods are increasingly used. The necessary steps are not taken to get readers interested in new approaches. Level of quality of education • Quality control of education: the education system of Uzbekistan does not have enough systems for monitoring and evaluating the quality of education. The effectiveness of teaching methods and techniques is not analyzed, which adversely affects the quality of education. • Pedagogical experiments: there are no systems for conducting experiments and evaluating innovative methods and approaches to teaching, which creates problems in determining the effectiveness of new approaches. 5. Public Policy and Education Practice of State Programs: Although the decisions and programs in the field of education adopted by the Government of Uzbekistan are aimed at solving many problems, their implementation in practice requires time and resources. Allocation of finances and resources: Funds allocated to education are often inadequate, hindering the development of educational institutions. These problems highlight the difficulties of introducing innovative teaching methods in the education system of Uzbekistan. The state and society need to work together to solve these problems. The introduction of new approaches and methods in the educational process is important for increasing the competitiveness of the education system of Uzbekistan and improving the quality of education on a global scale. We can face such problems in the education system of all developing countries. As a solution to such problems in the education system of Uzbekistan, he noted that these proposals will contribute to a more effective enrichment of the educational process with innovative methods, improving the quality of education and improving the qualifications of teachers. 1. Resource and infrastructure improvements • Development of technological infrastructure: it is necessary to increase financial investments for the introduction of modern Internet and computer technologies in all regions of Uzbekistan, especially in remote areas. This will help enrich the educational process with digital technologies. • Development of learning materials and resources: It is important to create and expand digital educational platforms, and to encourage the development and use of e- textbooks and manuals. Educational institutions should provide students with interactive and up-to-date materials. These courses should focus on innovative teaching methods, digital technologies and interactive teaching methods. • Network of experienced teachers and mentors: It is important to appoint experienced teachers as mentors of young teachers and encourage their mutual exchange of experiences. This helps in the introduction of new methods. 3. Encouragement of students • Get students interested in innovative methods: The introduction of interactive learning programs, gamification, and project-based learning methods is essential to ensure the active participation of students in the educational process. This increases students' engagement and engages them in the learning process. 4. Quality control of education • Education Quality Assessment Systems: It is necessary to create effective systems for monitoring and evaluating the educational process. These systems help to determine the effectiveness of teaching methods and improve the quality of education. • Pedagogical research and exchange of experience: it is necessary to conduct experiments and analyze the results of innovative teaching methods in educational institutions in Uzbekistan. This allows you to identify effective methods and apply them to other institutions. 5. Public Policy and Education Improving the effectiveness of state programs: it is necessary to improve the practical application of the decisions and programs adopted by the Government of Uzbekistan in the field of education, to ensure the transparency of their implementation. This increases the impact of state programs on the education system. • Allocation of finances and resources: Increasing allocations to education and using them effectively contributes to the development of educational institutions. Projects to improve educational infrastructure can be implemented in cooperation between the public and private sectors. • Updating teaching methods and introducing innovative teaching methods is one of the most important tasks in the education system of Uzbekistan. However, this process is fraught with a number of problems. Factors such as lack of resources and infrastructure, difficulties in teacher training, problems of student motivation, quality control of education and the effectiveness of public policies have a negative impact on the development of the education system.
