The article describes methods and innovative methods aimed at identifying and solving some problems related to language learning among students in schools, and developing their language skills. These methods, innovative methods and information technologies significantly enrich English language teaching. Keywords: innovative methods, modern technologies, students, English, interest, communicative approach, interactive games, practical lessons. It is known that the 21st century is the century of development, progress and innovative technologies. Currently, innovative technologies and modern scientific tools are being used in every field. Therefore, it is necessary to use modern and innovative tools, methods, and various interactive games and practical exercises in the classroom system for students to learn English in depth and to improve their language skills. The introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process is inextricably linked with the need-based improvement of educational content and methods in the process of teaching foreign languages. The main goal of teaching foreign languages is to form and develop the communicative culture of schoolchildren, to teach a foreign language in a practical way. Psychological research also shows the benefits of learning and speaking foreign languages. The task of the teacher is to create conditions for each student, to choose teaching methods that allow each student to demonstrate his activity and creative ability. In the 21st century, the main task of modern English language teaching is not only to provide a wide range of information, but also to enable the growing student to acquire knowledge independently, to always strive for deepening in the field of knowledge, and to increase his interest and passion for learning the English language. teaching students using modern methods, new information technologies and modern pedagogical technologies such as Internet resources. American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 11, Dec., 2022 57 | P a g e It is very important for the student to speak regularly from the moment he starts learning the language. Therefore, giving schoolchildren only new information during the lesson, performing written exercises in textbooks, and constantly memorizing rules or dictionaries in addition to extinguishing their interest in learning English it can also be the cause of their speech-related problems. Psychologists and educationalists admit that only if students are taught to overcome enough difficulties in the educational process, their thinking can be developed quickly. For this reason, it is appropriate to use methods based on speech development in order to solve problems related to students' speech. The use of Harold Palmer's method to improve students' language skills and eliminate their problems in schools is explained. The goal of this method is to master the English language, that is, to acquire the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The following set of effective scientific and pedagogical research methods are used, and in order to solve the goals of this work, it is necessary to analyze the existing pedagogical ideas and methods. It is necessary to adjust the graphic methods of educational materials and results of educational activities, classification, generalization, content analysis of educational complex, processing of research results to modern requirements. In methodological literature, there are different approaches to determining the role of goals, tasks, and exercises in learning a foreign language, and therefore there are different criteria for their classification and typology. Before proceeding to the description of the composition of exercises, it is necessary to understand the term "exercise". Studying the structure of exercises has received little attention in methodological literature. This, of course, does not mean that methodologists and teachers use some "unstructured" exercises. The description of the structure of exercises is fragmentary and does not cover all aspects of language and speech activity. The structure of exercises can be modeled based on the general structure of educational activities in this general method of language teaching.[2] The main argument of this approach is the randomness of the nature of events. Exercise is only one type of activity. Each exercise can be divided into two components: goal and executive (including control and self-control). The goal in the general method only defines the final result of language learning. The purpose of the exercise forms subsequent tasks related to the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities, the general purpose is always communicative in nature, the purpose of the exercise can be both training and communication. A similar relationship exists in the second link. In general, the primary means of achieving the final goals is educational activity (cognitive and communicative). The main way to implement direct goals is various actions: it is necessary to distinguish, imitate, replace, change. Feedback exercises also have their own characteristics. In general, the feedback method is considered only in principle. In exercises, it will have a specific form of programming (basic system and American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 11, Dec., 2022 58 | P a g e other programmable benefits in textbooks, checking with training machines, etc.) Taken together, they should provide immediate goals. Exercise goals vary significantly depending on the type of training. Identifying the difficulties in language learning will certainly give a good result in solving problems and achieving high results. In order to develop students' speech, the inclusion of topics in the school program should be based on the criteria of the "student and his environment" methodology. In simpler words, the student, first of all, expresses his opinion about himself, about people and things close to him in English (about his friends, teacher, family members and his class, school, home), secondly, it is required to be able to think about a long distance (about his village or city) and, finally, to be able to give information about his Homeland and the country(s) where the language is being studied. Methodological classification of these topics consists of 3 major names: "Student's environment", "Our country", "The country where the language is being studied". In schools, it is possible to develop students' English speaking skills based on such topics. In the context of the changing realities of modern society and its active development, it is necessary to use innovative methods of teaching English. Today, English language teachers in schools use the following innovative methods based on the experience of pedagogues from the USA and England: In order to apply the method of "Creative Problem Solving", the beginning of the story is read, and how it ends is referred to the judgment of the students; "Merry Riddles" (Merry Riddles). Teaching riddles to students is important in teaching English, they learn unfamiliar words and find answers to riddles; The "When pictures speak" method is very convenient and helps to develop oral speech of students in teaching English, for this purpose it is necessary to use pictures related to the topic; In the process of applying the "Thinkers' meeting" method, the students choose one of the scholars, poets and writers they want and share their wise words. At such a time, using the wise words they said in the lessons will help the students to become perfect people. In order to use the "Spelling bee" method, students must spell each word inthe dictionaries they have memorized. This method helps students to develop speaking and writing skills. Each of the above-mentioned innovative methods has its own advantages. In all such methods, cooperation between the teacher and the student, the active action of the student in the educational process is envisaged. The use of modern technologies in the teaching of English will also increase the interest and activity of students in science. During the lesson, depending on the students' class system, the teacher should show them interesting and educational videos in English, lasting 3 or 5 minutes. If the duration of these videos is long, some readers may get bored or they may not understand some words. Therefore, it is desirable that the duration of videos be short. It is possible to draw students' attention to language learning by showing videos to students in class. By posting new topics, American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 11, Dec., 2022 59 | P a g e information, grammar rules, interesting information, poetry, vocabulary or videos about historical and famous people, you can achieve effective results. In particular, students develop skills such as listening, listening and understanding, seeing and remembering, and speaking. In conclusion, it should be said that in the 21st century, the era itself demands innovations and renewal, and it would not be wrong to say that teaching the young generation through new, modern methods is also a requirement of the era. In order for students and young people to become mature staff in the future, it is necessary to support them by helping them scientifically, spiritually, educationally and psychologically. Developing the language skills of schoolchildren now will give very successful results in the future. Using the above-mentioned methods, innovative methods and modern information technologies to increase their interest in language learning, to attract them to language learning, to be able to solve the difficulties that arise in them, to think, to develop their talents to show and develop their reading, speaking, listening and writing skills and help to achieve great results. As a result of the use of innovative methods, students' logical thinking skills develop, their speech becomes fluent, and the ability to quickly and correctly answer is formed. At this point, it should be said that, in addition to the use of methodologies and innovative methods in teaching, the introduction of information technologies significantly diversifies the process of receiving and processing information.
