Fiction, historical works embody children’s feelings of patriotism and love for the country is highlighted in our article. Keywords: theater, patriotism, children’s literature, culture and art. INTRODUCTION After the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a period of fundamental changes began in all areas, especially in the areas of theater art. From the very beginning, great goals and tasks were set for Uzbek art and culture. The place of theater art is incomparable in the all-round development of the society. In the process of globalization, the implementation of innovations in theater art serves to increase the quality and content in the field. The use of various innovations in art reflects the development of economic and social spheres in our country. Demonstrating the spiritual stability of our nation's culture through stage works is certainly the most important task in the work of a playwright, artist, actor, and director. RESEARCH METHODS We all know that traditional Uzbek puppet theaters have been the spiritual food of our people since the past. Sakhna’s works not only captivate the audience, but also reflect the struggle of the people for their will and rights by making fun of the events taking place in the process of the social system in their time. Puppet play is an art form that is mainly performed on the basis of the artistic program organized in public holidays and ceremonies, public squares and parks. As a model of ancient art, it has been protecting the interests of people, expressing the worldview and image of the masses in a bright and artistic way for centuries. Currently, there are ten professional theaters in our country - Tashkent, Andizhan, Bukhara, Samarkand, Khorezm, Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya, Jizzakh, Fergana, Karakalpak and a number of amateur puppet theaters. The construction of professional puppet theaters has been started. The works staged in such puppet theaters have been fulfilling the responsible task of educating the minds of young viewers with patriotism and humane feelings [1]. A number of tasks were assigned to the representatives of each field of work to be carried out “on the further development of national culture in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019-2020”. In particular, one of the clauses from the concept emphasizes the staging of artistic and historical plays about great thinkers, scholars, and statesmen in order to create historical artistic images that serve as moral examples for young people, and to strengthen the sense of national pride. Today, the historical plays about the life and work of our great ancestors, which are planned and performed in all the theaters operating in our republic, mean the execution of these tasks. It is certainly gratifying that it has become a tradition to stage historical works in the puppet theaters of our country. Teaching history to our children is as much fun as it is responsible. As proof of our opinion, “Sheryurak or the story of Babur” – “Farkhod and Shirin” (Andizhan), “Ibn Sino” (Samarkand), “Shiraq”, “Qirq kiz”-(Qarakalpakistan), “Bakhrom and Dilorom” were created for children. “Layli and Majnun” - (Tashkent), “Al Fergani” - (Ferghana), “The master of thought - Zahiriddin Muhammed Babur”, “Lison ut-tayr” - (Kashkadarya), “Bird’s language” - (Bukhara), we can recognize performances like [2]. Such performances are very warmly welcomed by the young audience and they are getting information about the history of their ancestors. Any culture that is inculcated from childhood creates strong skills. Based on this, it can be said that love for theater is formed in puppet theaters among young viewers. The child believes what he sees and draws conclusions. In puppet theaters, actors communicate with the audience through puppets, and this requires double skill and responsibility from the actors. All puppet theaters in Uzbekistan are working for children to grow up with mature intelligence. Today, puppet theaters present good historical performances that encourage children to do good, instill good qualities in their hearts, and awaken a feeling of love for the Motherland. It is not difficult to convey the inner feelings of any stage character through words and movements, and it is natural for older audiences, that is, they can understand the reality conveyed by movement. It is appropriate to show children the reality in a child-like way, based on the child's language and their worldview. Especially in the age of innovative ideas, today's children are very intelligent and have strong mental perception. On the contrary, it is necessary to create new ideas, to familiarize children with great figures, and to show historical events such as their pursuit of knowledge, goodness, and goodness in puppet theaters in wonderful and surprising ways, that is, for children, about historical figures who are the pride of our nation. showing their heroism, good qualities, bravery for their people, protecting their homeland and nation on the stage will have a great effect on their understanding of history. “A nation that does not know its history has no future” - these words have a deep meaning. It is known that the role of culture and art is incomparable in the formation of a nation as a nation, the country's approach to the world, the development of pure human feelings such as decency, pride, and patriotism in society. In a word, the development of any nation cannot be imagined apart from its national culture. As a result, great attention is being paid to the further development of the cultural sector in our country today. This can be clearly seen in such activities as following the teachings of our ancestors, restoring our national traditions, promoting our rich national culture, strengthening the material foundations of the industry, and building modern cultural institutions. “The theater does not educate the audience - only an educated audience goes to the theater. The audience comes to the theater not to see a play, but to sympathize with the characters...” - said Bahadir Yoldoshev, one of the mature directors of our time. We would like to add to these thoughts that if the younger viewers grow up watching art-level performances, they will definitely become educated viewers in the future. We can recognize as a type. The role of puppet theater in inculcating true patriotism is incomparable. – “Asian puppet theater is not just a pastime, a game, but an important thing that is closely related to the philosophy, religion, literature, epic, music, folklore, fine arts and, of course, languages of the peoples of the continent is a historical event,” said Mukhsin Kadirov, a theater scholar. If we look at the history of the Uzbek puppet theater, which is gradually finding its performance style, some rituals of our ancestors, as well as some performances of folk theaters that lived in antiquity, played an important role in its origin. In the early days, his repertoire consisted of legendary short stories. In the 5th - 6th centuries, it was divided into the types “Chadir Jamal”, “Chadir Jamal” and “Fonus Jamal”, and then “Chadir Jamal” theater began to show performances reflecting the reality of life and gradually acquired a social-revealing character. The best traditions of the People’s Puppet Theater were mastered and continued by the actors, directors and artists of the new puppet theater, which started working as part of the Youth Audience Theater in 1928. Thus, the art of puppetry, which was once a real folk theater, began to serve mainly children from the beginning of the 20th century. To date, a number of performances on historical and modern themes are created for children and adults, not only in the Republican puppet theaters, but also in the newly established regional puppet theaters. Therefore, puppet theater is a very necessary and useful art for older audiences, while it is easy to understand for children. For children, the greatest force in existence is love and this feeling keeps the balance of the whole life. The human heart is always yearning for love. And the world of children is characterized by its innocence, full of goodness. Therefore, happy is the person who can preserve the feeling of goodness in his heart. Art, including theater, plays an important role in the development of such human qualities in a person’s spirit, in preparing a person from childhood to a great life. If we look at the historical sources, there is a lot of interesting information about the culture and art of the Bukhara Emirate. In these sources, there is no doubt that the development of traditional theater art of Bukhara existed three centuries ago, representatives of different countries visited and gave impetus to the puppet theater type of art along with several branches. The house theater artists of Bukhara emir performed puppet shows for the visiting guests and their children at special parties, during the performance of the dancers. In the book written by one of the ambassadors, he sincerely wrote that he saw the puppet theater performances and the children were surprised and happy. CONCLUSION It can be seen that the Uzbek national art of puppetry has a deep history and along the way it has been able to create warm feelings and impressions in the hearts of young viewers. In short, the stage works created by the Uzbek national puppet theaters, which tell about the childhood days and glorious pages of the works of the historical figures who are the pride of our nation, serve to develop the love of the Motherland, respect for the great ancestors, bravery and courage in the hearts of the audience, especially the young generations no doubt.
