Therefore, today, museums are not only a sacred place that preserves and exhibits artifacts that tell the story of our nation, but also a spiritual place that is important in the development of the education system and the upbringing of the modern generation. We were very pleased that in accordance with the State Program "Year of Communication with the People and Human Interests" in 2017-2027 it is planned to develop a comprehensive program of measures to improve the activities of museums and strengthen the material and technical base. Because the implementation of this program creates a great opportunity to further strengthen the material and technical base of all our museums and create modern conditions. In view of these goals, the laws, regulations, decisions and other normative legal documents issued in the following years regarding the activity of the museum: including the decree of the head of our state dated February 15, 2017 "On the organization of the activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On the further development and improvement of the sphere of culture and art" "On measures" serve to improve the activities of museums and strengthen their material and technical base. American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 13, Feb., 2023 33 | P a g e RESEARCH METHODS In 2017-2021, the Strategy of Actions on the five priority areas of Uzbekistan's development, including the State program "The Year of Support for Active Entrepreneurship, Innovative Ideas and Technologies", also set the main tasks for the development of tourism: encouraging local residents to travel around the country, convenient infrastructure for tourists creation, systematic development of domestic tourism by widely promoting the tourist potential of the regions, creation of ample conditions for the visit of foreign tourists, rapid development of tourism at the expense of content enrichment of their travel programs and expansion of the types of services provided, formation of appropriate infrastructure in the objects of material cultural heritage in our country and the objects around them, It is planned to develop pilgrimage tourism as a promising direction of the field by creating appropriate conditions for religious ceremonies [1]. RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS Of course, the effect of high attention paid to museology in the development of tourism in our country is incomparable. The following unprecedented works were carried out in this field: - a number of legal documents on the development and improvement of the field of museology were adopted, and the organizational and legal foundations of museum activity were created. - a fund was established in order to effectively start the work of the museum and to coordinate the activities of the museums. - in the years of independence, a number of exhibitions were organized in the museums of the world to show the material and cultural heritage preserved in the museums of Uzbekistan to the world public. The activities of museums provide a lot of knowledge about the development of humanity in the process of historical development, its achievements and the rich cultural and traditional heritage left behind. The ability of aesthetic artistic perception arising from studying the activities of museums arouses in people the desire to reflect the universe, its creatures, events, environmental processes in various forms. There are two types of museums in terms of structure: open museums and closed museums. Open-air museums include monuments-architecture, architectural structures under the open sky of the great historical cities of our country. For example, we can show historical architectural monuments in old Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva, Shahrisabz, Kokand, Tashkent and other cities. In addition, buildings, statues and squares built in honor of the memory of Imam Bukhari, Ahmad al-Farghani, Ahmad Yassavi and other great scholars are open museums. Many years of architectural experience, knowledge, skills, culture and spirituality of the people are clearly American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 13, Feb., 2023 34 | P a g e demonstrated in these museums. From their style of construction to the patterns and colors used, it evokes a sense of wonder and delight in the viewer. The art of our ancestors and their successors, the master craftsmen and architects of this time, captivates the people of the whole world and shows the high spirituality and cultural life of the Uzbek people. It is known that the field of tourism develops along with the development of museology in the field of tourism of museums and historical monuments. Along with ancient monuments, sacred shrines, historical and cultural monuments, the efforts made in this direction in our country, which attracts tourists with its unique culture and traditions, beautiful nature and beautiful corners, are gaining importance in the further development of the tourism industry and infrastructure. We can clearly see this in the example of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) on "Economic results of the travel and tourism industry" and our republic was noted as one of the five countries where the tourism industry is rapidly developing. In fact, tourism has a great impact not only on economic development and the increase of the gross domestic product, but also on ensuring the employment of the population, increasing the standard and quality of life, and increasing the welfare and development of the country. According to experts' calculations, every 30 tourists will stimulate the creation of one new job in the country's tourism sector, and two in related systems. About two million tourists from 70 countries of the world visit our country every year. For them, cultural-historical tourism remains the most popular. In addition, more than 110 of the existing 500 tourism companies are consistently operating in international destinations, which is an important factor in attracting tourists to our country. At this point, it should be noted that during the past period in our country, the necessary regulatory legal framework was created to regulate the industry and strengthen its legal foundations. In particular, the Decree of the President of December 2018 "On measures to ensure the rapid development of the tourism sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the decision "On the organization of the activities of the State Committee for the Development of Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan" serve to make a radical turn in the field and open new pages in development. The decision of the head of our state on August 16 of this year "On the First priority measures for the development of the tourism sector in 2018-2019" was an important document in the further expansion of reforms in this direction [2, 56]. Therefore, by the decision, improvement of regulatory and legal regulation in the system and development of international cooperation, cheaper travel to Uzbekistan, development of tourism and industry-related infrastructure in all regions of our country, diversification of tourist products and establishment of new tourism facilities, as well as internal and external promotion of national tourism products the first American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 13, Feb., 2023 35 | P a g e program of measures for the development of tourism in 2018-2019, aimed at active and comprehensive promotion in the markets, was approved [3]. Based on this program, modern recreation areas, four-star hotels and hotel complexes, rest areas for foreign tourists, as well as [4] based on the experience of tourism areas in the cities of Bukhara and Samarkand, in the cities of Urganch, Tashkent and Fergana region, based on the specific aspects of our country. tourism areas, the gradual establishment of mountain clusters in the Bostonliq district of the Tashkent region [5]. Of course, this has an important role in raising the tourism potential of our country to a higher level. The implementation of the system of regular study of the implementation of the measures approved by the decision, the establishment of the Coordinating Council and the regional councils in the presence of the Cabinet of Ministers will ensure the quality and full implementation of each task in the program within the specified period. CONCLUSION In accordance with this document, a permanent working group is being formed to regularly introduce proposals for simplifying the visa procedure for foreign tourists and organizing pilgrimage tourism, and to implement this task. It can be said that it makes tourists visiting our country more comfortable. I think that the effective implementation of the measures specified in the decision will serve to further develop our economy, introduce our country's rich culture, architectural monuments and unique traditions to the whole world, and make Uzbekistan one of the most favorite tourist destinations for tourists from all over the world. On December 9, 2020, under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoev, a meeting of video selectors was held to discuss the work being done in the fields of tourism and sports and the tasks for the coming year. At this meeting, the head of our state emphasized that there is a lack of promotion and scientific approach in pilgrimage tourism, and there are many places in the regions that have not been sufficiently explored and tourists are not attracted.
