American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 19, Aug., 2023 32 | P a g e Full-scale reforms initiated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev have created a favorable climate for business development in the country, narrowing the social inequality gap, increasing labor productivity and achieving long-term sustainable growth in all areas of life. That is why the experience of Uzbekistan in sustainable human development, the priority attitude to scientific and technological progress, innovative and information technologies, the training of highly qualified and comprehensively developed personnel, their full support and new far-sighted initiatives in the field of tourism and upbringing arouse such interest from neighboring states and their scientific communities. The tourism sector plays an important role in ensuring the economic development of our country and the well-being of our people, as well as creating new local jobs. In recent years, large-scale reforms have been implemented to rapidly develop this industry, increase the flow of foreign tourists to our country, and expand domestic tourism. But there were a number of problems that needed to be solved in the field. For example, there is no possibility of issuing electronic entry visas for foreign citizens, the potential of domestic and pilgrimage, agricultural tourism and opportunities for attracting foreign investments were not being used enough. The decree of the President of February 3, 2018 "On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for the development of the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was an important program in raising the work in this regard to a new level. This decree includes specific measures aimed at developing tourism and tourist infrastructure, offering tourist services to domestic and international tourist markets, beautifying tourist facilities, improving the quality and efficiency of services, and raising them to the level of today's requirements. The decree further supports the development of tourism and tourist infrastructure, actively introduces national tourist services into the international tourist market, expands cooperation with international organizations in the field of tourism, large foreign brands and companies, introduces advanced global quality standards of tourism services, modern objects of tourism infrastructure in the regions of the republic , first of all, special attention is paid to rapid development of hotels, transport-logistics structures, engineering- communication infrastructure, creation of new tourism destinations in the regions. Samarkand, located at the crossroads of the Silk Road, has always been of great interest to the people of the world with its unique cultural heritage buildings and artifacts. This allows further development of tourist infrastructure in the ancient and modern city. Therefore, in recent years, tourism has become one of the leading sectors in the further development of the regional economy. There are a lot of museums, historical sites and monuments, as well as beautiful and beautiful recreation centers and holy shrines, which embody the history of our people in our province. With the decree, many innovations will be made in order to further develop the tourism infrastructure, new routes that will attract tourists will be opened, the quality of services American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 19, Aug., 2023 33 | P a g e provided to tourists will be further improved, and attention will be paid to creating conditions in hotels at the level of modern requirements. The tourism potential of our country will increase It is not for nothing that tourism is called a bond of cultures. As long as a person lives his life, he always strives for the beauty of the world. There is a saying that in the developed countries of the world, due to the development of tourism, the country's economy receives good income. I would like to emphasize that tourism opportunities are extremely wide in our country, which has about a thousand historical architectural monuments and places of interest. The Decree of the President "On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for the development of the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan" will closely support the development of the industry and the implementation of new projects. Financial support for young entrepreneurs seeking to develop tourism, exemption from customs services for the construction and equipment of thematic avenues, hotels and other means of accommodation will serve the development of the sector. In the decree, important tasks regarding the development of domestic tourism, types of recreation, development of sports tourism, conservation of natural areas and presentation to the world have been determined. Preservation of our rich natural, cultural and historical heritage in our country and effective use of available resources and opportunities is an urgent task of today. Attracting investments in tourism, exemption from customs services for importing innovative ideas and technologies, modernization of tourism services is of great importance. Now 10 mln. for each project to be implemented for the improvement of this sector. Allocation of credit in the amount of US dollars also ensures the implementation of many new projects. There are thousands of foreigners who want to see the architectural monuments in our city Shahrisabz, which was called the jewel of the East in ancient times. In particular, hundreds of historical objects such as Aqsaroy, Doriltilovat, Dorussaodat, which were the great palaces of the Sultanate of Amir Temur, are still admired by foreigners. During the years of independence, a lot of work has been done to preserve and repair these beautiful buildings, which are a shining example of our rich cultural heritage. However, today we cannot say that the potential of tourism in our oasis is being used sufficiently. We still have a lot to do in terms of modernization of tourism development, in particular, effective use of the Internet. In fulfilling these tasks, the decree of our honorable president serves as a program for us. At the meeting of video selectors held under the chairmanship of the President, in the context of "Rapid development of the tourism potential of our country", a number of urgent tasks were assigned to the officials of the sector. "One of the promising sectors that bring high income to the national economy is tourism, which has become one of the fastest growing sectors of the world economy.
