This article provides some information and guidance on modern technologies for effective organization of teaching methods. Keywords: modern teaching, education, methodology, students, educational technologies. Introduction In modern teaching methods, the teaching and planning of the curriculum is done by keeping the learner as the main goal. What is modern education? “Rather than forcing students to read the curriculum in the same old-fashioned way, focus more on improving their intellectual behavior by applying a variety of new and innovative ideas. In other words, modern teaching methods. ” In this way, students are actively involved in the whole process to strengthen their knowledge and sharpen their skills; This is also called the constructivist approach. On the other hand, the teacher or instructor only guides them and focuses their attention on the goals of the topic. All this is done through engagement and the use of innovative modern teaching methods. A new requirement of the course, or a modern requirement for students, is to adopt modern teaching methods that will help reduce competition among students, develop collaboration, and improve the health environment. There have been significant changes in teaching methods over the years. Contrary to the old practice of memorization and reading to teach students, interactive teaching methods have now been introduced with modern teaching methods and the results can be seen. This educational reform provides a completely different perspective on teaching and learning, as modern teaching methods, unlike the traditional teaching method, do not work at the level of comprehension of all students. Modern single- teacher-based teaching methods focus more on question-and-answer, demonstration, explanation, practice, collaboration, and activity-based methods. In recent years, the scope of knowledge in science and technology has increased dramatically, and the ability of man to adapt to new knowledge in science and technology has also increased. American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Development ISSN Online: 2771-8948 Website: www.ajird.journalspark.org Volume 04, May, 2022 221 | P a g e Thus, there is a great need for innovative and creative minds to explore the unknown and undiscovered areas of different fields. Applying modern methods to cope with the modern world and the era of knowledge-based technology is the only way to survive. This means that students need to be taught how to fight the 21st century, which is the age of technology and requires a creative and innovative mindset for the development of the individual, society and nation. Introducing students to modern teaching methods requires them to have sufficient knowledge to create opportunities for themselves and others. Teachers still use the traditional chalk-speech method in the Classroom to teach students who can only provide basic knowledge in science and other subjects. Their approach can no longer be used because it is outdated, limited in scope, and has failed at the national and individual levels. Many problems, including unemployment, can be overcome if teachers teach science with modern teaching methods instead of traditional non-practical methods and conduct science lessons in a scientific way. possible. All of this can be achieved by providing a solid foundation for the Basic Education System and the High School System. This requires an immediate review of the BST curriculum, and this is the reason for the introduction of modern teaching methods. Features of modern teaching methods. Modern teaching methods help to form or develop an effective understanding of basic science and technology. Thus, the elements of modern teaching methods are: 1. Student-oriented. One of the important features of modern teaching methods in basic science and technology (BST) is that it is student-centered. Students are encouraged to use or apply in class and lab lectures. The teacher works only as a guide and the whole learning process involves the students. Students appear to be significantly dominant in classroom interactions. 2. Based on task and activity. A core science and technology teacher or facilitator organizes an activity or task and engages students in learning in that way. So it is activity-based or commission-based. Students are invited or asked to participate in classroom communication through these interactive activities. 3. Resource based. Basic science and technology teachers need to be resourceful. They should collect and distribute all necessary learning materials so that students can study or clearly understand the topic. Resources can be collected from the school environment or anywhere else available. In addition, the learner can be a resource that brings learning material or resources from its end. 4. Interactive with nature. One feature defines the modern teaching method as very interactive. The teacher asks the students to form small groups or work individually to complete the learning tasks and achieve the desired results. This helps them learn from each other. Students learn to work together and have a sense of collaboration. It also works in their favor when they go out into the outside world. One of the vital features of modern teaching methods is integration. Teachers link and integrate social studies topics with other topics, such as drug use, domestic violence, security, pollution, food distribution, and crime. Through this, the reader can gain more knowledge while studying a topic. 6. Peer cooperation. Modern teaching methods not only encourage students to present their ideas or initiatives by noticing their responses, researching and responding interactively in Basic Science and Technology classes, but also by engaging students in their interests and needs. and chooses according to their feelings. Through educational activities, students learn to work collaboratively and they also value the work of competitors. In the core science and technology curriculum, students ’interests are paramount and they are focused on their goals and careers. Like any other field, education has developed rapidly over the years. In the past, teachers were the only means of teaching and building bridges between students. They used traditional pedagogical methods to explain or make a note of the topic. However, modern education sees a broad scenario that encourages students to study in depth and to satisfy their curiosity. In recent years, we have become acquainted with a variety of modern teaching methods, and the introduction of technology along with innovative teaching methods has led to a revolution in education. So let’s discuss what new teaching methods are available. Collaborative learning. In the past, when students were asked to review a topic or program on an exam or regular day, they reviewed the curriculum individually or at home. This practice was common in traditional teaching methods. To address this issue or provide a more useful platform for students, schools are proposing collaborative learning. In this modern teaching method, teachers form a group of students who can solve their problems, discuss topics, and clarify their requests. This helps to develop social skills and allows students to understand the topic more quickly. In this modern teaching method, each student is part of the group’s success because they help each other achieve the desired result, and they also learn to communicate with each other. Students learn to tolerate others, listen to others, and work in a team. They will be able to meet different people and get real feedback about their work. Spatial education. Spatial education is one of the modern teaching methods used by teachers. In this method, teachers repeat the lesson several times, mostly until students fully understand. However, the teacher repeats the course with two 10- minute breaks (breaks) between classes. The space is designed to refresh the mind by playing exercises or developing mindfulness techniques, preparing them for the next session of the same lesson. This method gives students intervals to inherit knowledge and make connections between studies. Before moving on to the next chapter, this method prepares students for basic knowledge. You definitely knew about it. Its name “Flipped Classroom” makes it unique. This is one of the most important modern teaching methods used today. In this teaching method, the teaching process is done in reverse. Unlike traditional methods, students learn new material or content independently at home and practice the same at school. The method is the opposite of presenting content in school and asking students to process it or practice it at home. Students practice this method by watching a video tutorial at home, searching the Internet, or working on content that is usually shared by the teacher. They don’t have to do homework at home. Instead, they finish it in school. Gamification. As you know, kids love games - be it online games or playing games on the field. Teaching through games is one of the most important modern teaching methods used in modern teaching methods. The importance of gamification in teaching was mainly reflected in the primary and pre-school education system. Learning through play is not even done by students. It also encouraged students and was effective not only for preschoolers but for students of all ages. The responsibility for teaching through gamification rests with teachers as they have to plan or design projects that are appropriate for students their age. They should include attractive measures to keep students connected for long periods of time and to keep them interested. Teachers can also get help from the online platform under Gamification. Teachers can organize online quizzes, puzzles or mental games. This modern teaching method is an interesting learning method. References 1. Solidjonov, D. (2021).
