Introduction: The rapid development of modern society forces the student to quickly learn and understand the material, especially a foreign language. Nowadays, mastering at least one foreign language is becoming an indispensable requirement for the professional qualification of a specialist. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the efficiency and quality of the process of learning foreign languages. The most effective methods of language learning are interactive methods. The purpose of the article is to determine the main role of interactive methods in teaching English. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were defined: to describe the main interactive methods and to give examples of the use of these methods. The term "interactive" refers to people working together and influencing each other. This situation implies a dialogue or conversation. Therefore, this method focuses on the interaction between students and the teacher, as well as only between students. This requires the active role of students in the learning process. Interactive methods are the so-called collective thinking, that is, methods of pedagogical influence, which are part of the educational content. One of the unique features of interactive methods is that they are carried out in cooperation with the teacher and students, through joint activities. The goal of interactive education is to create special conditions that lead to the involvement of all students in the learning process, in which participants understand and are aware of everything that is happening, influence each other and contribute. can add, establish friendly and mutually beneficial relations. The most popular methods are role-playing games, brainstorming, case-study method, presentations and discussions. They develop communicative skills, logical thinking and various types of intellectual activities such as analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. These student-centered methods are particularly well-suited for engaging students more actively in acquiring knowledge, skills, and strategies. It is known that role-playing games make the educational process at the university more knowledgeable and competent, improve interdisciplinary communication, connect the theory with the real needs of the professional field, and develop the skills necessary for future professionals. A key element is role-playing, which provides an opportunity to develop skills that are difficult to acquire in a regular educational setting. There are two ways to roleplay: scripted and unscripted. With a scripted role play, the teacher can use an example from the textbook. This is a good idea for a starter exercise, allowing everyone to pair up and talk to a partner who takes on different roles. In unscripted role-playing games, students are assigned certain roles and have to use what they already know to talk to their partners. Here are some ideas for a general English lesson. It can be adjusted according to the situation. 237 AMERICAN Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us - Telephone conversation Talking on the phone is different from a face-to-face conversation because it relies solely on language to communicate. Have the students practicing sit facing backwards so they can work properly. There are a number of ideas you can use to do this. Examples include making a phone call to complain, talking to a friend, or asking about a job. - Going to the store This is effective for young learners because it teaches them the basics of interacting with people. Children tend to trust their parents to buy them, so this increases their overall confidence in the purchase. Depending on the situation, it can be as simple or complex as one wants. Key phrases are often important here, for example, "I want..." "How much..." "Good morning..." etc. Literature analysis and methods Popular methods of teaching and learning English and Internet resources were used in the research process. During the writing of the article, the principles of theoretical deductive conclusion, analysis and synthesis, logicality were used. Another interesting interactive method that allows you to develop important qualities and develop thinking is brainstorming. Brainstorming is a collaborative search for ideas to solve any problem. The main advantages of this method (provided it is used correctly) are that students seem to be "liberated" - the language barrier disappears, they are not afraid to say the wrong thing, the restriction goes away, etc. . The brainstorming method develops creative thinking, initiative, the ability to generate maximum ideas in a short time, and the ability to express personal opinion. Here are some brainstorming activity ideas: Multi-purpose items First, the teacher gives an object to the class. Then give the students a few minutes to think about how the item could be used. After about five to six minutes, the teacher asks the students what they think. For example, you can eat with a fork, comb your hair, open boxes and clean dishes. Using multi-purpose items encourages creativity and it's fun to hear what students come up with. - Exploding while speaking First, the teacher suggests a topic or idea. Then the teacher starts the music and the students have to think of as many words as they can about the theme. Someone starts with the ball. When he thinks of a word, he passes the ball to another student. This process continues, but students cannot repeat what has already been said. When the music stops, whoever is holding the ball loses. And the punishment can be different. For example, the student who loses will have to speak for a minute about the topic given by the teacher. An interesting interactive method that a teacher can use is the case-study method. This is a learning technique in which the student is faced with a specific problem situation. A case study helps to explore a real problem in a defined context, using different data sources. Doing a case study gives students the following benefits: 1) allows students to learn in practice. Case studies enable students to solve problems faced by decision makers and managers in real organizations without endangering themselves or the organization concerned; 2) increases students' ability to ask correct questions in a problematic situation; 3) increases the level of responsibility in preparing students to work in various fields and organizations. This gives students the flexibility and confidence to take on different roles and responsibilities in their careers. It also helps students make more informed career decisions; 4) strengthens the student's knowledge of management theory by giving real examples of the main theoretical concepts. By providing rich, engaging information about real business situations, they bring new discussions to life; 238 AMERICAN Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us 5) reflects the reality of making management decisions in the real world. Here, students must make decisions based on sufficient information. The cases reflect the uncertainty and complexity that accompany most management issues; 6) helps to understand different points of view and views of other members of his team. Undoubtedly, it serves to improve communication and interpersonal skills of students; 7) provides a holistic view of management. It involves integrating theories and concepts learned in different functional areas such as managerial decision making, marketing and finance. Topics that English teachers may consider include: • planning holidays in a certain town, harmonizing the different interests of group members; • choosing a suitable restaurant for people with different dietary requirements; • budget-based vacation planning for a group or family in a certain direction; • advice on reducing plastic waste in everyday life; • advising someone to lead a healthy lifestyle; • planning an intercultural night; • evaluation of the brochure; • evaluation of housing rental offers. The task of the teacher is to create conditions for practical mastery of the language for each student, to choose such teaching methods that allow each student to demonstrate his activity and creativity. The task of the teacher is to activate the cognitive activity of the student in the process of teaching foreign languages. Modern pedagogical technologies, such as collaborative learning, project methodology, use of new information technologies, Internet resources, help to implement a person-oriented approach in the educational process, individualize and differentiate teaching, taking into account the abilities of children, their level of learning. provides. Forms of working with computer training programs in foreign language classes include: learning vocabulary; practice pronunciation; teaching dialogic and monologic speech; teaching to write; development of grammatical events. The possibilities of using Internet resources are huge. The Global Internet provides conditions for students and teachers located in any part of the world to get any necessary information: regional geographical materials, news in the life of young people, articles from newspapers and magazines, etc. Discussion and results Every teacher in the process of teaching English creates the conditions for the formation, development, and acquisition of knowledge of students as individuals. On the basis of language learning, it is important for students to be able to communicate freely, express opinions and think independently, knowing the grammar of the English language after studying science. Therefore, the organization of English lessons using advanced modern methods, interactive methods, and innovative technologies is considered important in the development of their communicative competence, and in the development of oral and written speech. The use of innovative technologies is reflected in the work carried out to increase students' thinking, imagination, worldview, interests. According to McCarthy, "the methodology of teaching foreign languages has developed a lot over the past half century. It has been conducted at different times in grammatical translation, audio-linguistic structure, global audiovisual, inductive/deductive, functional, ideational, situational, communicative, immersion, learning/receiving, recommendation, etc. Consequently, as a result of the use of audiovisual tools during the lesson, the ability to remember the semantic meaning of words and use lexical units improves. Advanced modern technologies, innovative approaches and interactive methods ensure that students are highly educated and highly qualified. It should be said that in order for students to 239 AMERICAN Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us learn the English language to have knowledge, skills, and competences in the grammar of this language, they must first of all have sufficient knowledge of the grammar of their mother tongue and be fully fluent in live speech. is characterized by compliance. In particular, one of the active lexical units in students' speech is the pronoun. First of all, if the knowledge and skills in the grammar of the native language about pronouns are formed, then it is easy to understand this topic in English. Like all methods, interactive methods have their own goals and tasks. In addition, in order to use these methods in online education, the teacher should be aware of several recommendations. For example, the first rule: the audience should be prepared in such a way that participants should be organized to work in small or large groups. Materials for creative work must be prepared in advance. The second rule: it is necessary to treat the process and regulations seriously. The third rule: all listeners should be involved in the work to one degree or another. The fourth rule: it is necessary to help the spiritual preparation of listeners. In this regard, it will be useful to practice, provide constant incentives for active participation in work, and create an opportunity for the learner to express himself. The fifth rule: the number of learners in the group should not be large when conducting training based on interactive methods. Usually, the work is effective only when the number of students does not exceed 10-15 people. Conclusion Thus, after expressing the given methods, we can conclude that interactive teaching methods help to optimize the learning process in learning English. They help to introduce motivational mechanisms and improve the effectiveness of teaching communication in English. The advantages of using interactive methods in the process of teaching students are as close as possible to the real conditions of professional activity, wide independence of students, help to develop decision- making and self-speech skills in the conditions of creative competition. Teaching a modern language is aimed at forming a more cultured person, who will have the skills of self-analysis and systematization of new knowledge. Innovative methods are an integral part of the modernization of the entire system. With this assurance, teachers can familiarize themselves with the most advanced approaches and then integrate them and use them in their work to achieve significant growth in the education system. Many organizations are moving to a new level by using multimedia capabilities to send and receive information. The use of computers and other devices determines the success of the entire educational process. Sufficient attention should be paid to the formation of speech skills and the development of social flexibility in the trainings conducted during the educational process. In addition, the success of each lesson in education largely depends on the correct organization of the training. The lesson should be based on the creative cooperation of the teacher and the student. Only then will students be able to think independently and freely, and their will will be trained. REFERENCES 1.
