The article discusses English, Russian and Uzbek folk proverbs that touch on the idea of family. identifying a number of significant novel approaches to translation, both into Russian and into another language, in order to contrast the distinctive characteristics of Uzbek languages. Key words: child, culture, mentality, proverb, synonym, antonym, and family. Introduction As it is well known, proverbs play a significant role in illustrating a country's culture and traits. Proverbs include historical locations, well-known historical figures, as well as customs and national concepts of the people. There are also well-known personas of people and culture. The renowned linguist V. Maider says the following statement about proverbs in his book: “A proverb is a short sentence that appeared in a memorable form, a metaphor that expresses the wisdom, truth, morality and traditional views of the people, passed from generation to generation.” Proverbs and sayings are well-known sayings that have been handed down through the ages and contain precious wisdom. Proverbs can be written about a variety of topics, including life, love, family, friends, health, happiness, money, hard work, time, teamwork, leadership, business, and especially family. Linguistics is one of the few scientific fields that fully explains the phenomenon of language production, the relationship between language and culture, and their interdependence. Moreover, translations of proverbs from two or more languages that have the same meaning might not always line up precisely. It can be difficult to translate phraseology, proverbs, and sayings that exist in one language into another and find suitable translations or equivalents. Materials and methods. Sometimes it takes a long time for proverbs to emerge, form, and become part of people's lively conversations. The languages of Uzbekistan, Russia and English speaking countries’ languages are members of distinct linguistic families, and they differ from one another in terms of their respective historical development and linguistic influences. For that reason the proverbs have similar content, but there are numerous instances where their form and meaning diverge. One of the expressive elements in the nation's distinctive folklore creativity is illustrating the culture, identity, and values of the people. Proverbs can share elements or symptoms and belong to the same or a similar logical type whether they are found in the same language, in languages that are closely related to one another, or in languages that are unrelated at all. In order to translate proverbs accurately, one must possess linguistic, cultural, and sociological knowledge of the nations' mindsets, ways of life, and perspectives. From there, one must determine an equivalent meaning that closely aligns with the proverb's original meaning. It is not sufficient to translate proverbs literally into other languages in order to convey their meaning. Because the translated version of its content is accessible. The proverb's primary meaning can result in inappropriate comprehension. Examples of family-related proverbs in English, Russian and Uzbek languages are given in this article, along with an analysis of their linguistic and cultural characteristics. It can be called as a concept which is abstract. Some English, Uzbek proverbs and Russian proverbs are listed below. “An excellent wife is the crown of her husband.” “Xotin-erning vaziri”. “Муж — голова, жена — шея”. A pair within a bilingual family. There are proverbs concerning place and position that have comparable meanings. Uzbek wife demonstrates that the woman is wise in her position and the husband is the king, or head of the family, by drawing a comparison between her and the minister. It is implied that, she will guide her husband toward the correct path. Russian equivalent of the same meaning. The proverb illustrates it by contrasting the head and neck of the husband and wife. In other words, wherever the neck bends. The head turns to face this way as well. Even though the proverbs are synonymous, the subtle colors varies. “A blind wife and a deaf husband are a happy couple no matter what.” This proverb gives husband and wife advice on how to behave and what to do in order to create a happy family. It is crucial to note that literal translations from Uzbek and Russian sound just as natural as it does in the original: “Erning “kar”i, xotinning “ko‘r”i – oilaning zo‘ri”. “Слепая жена и глухой муж — счастливая пара, несмотря ни на что».” Many proverbs are the expressions of one nation’s culture, their customs and traditions. There are many proverbs about not only on the topic family and other topics as well, but finding equivalents of these proverbs from other languages is a quite challenging task other languages. Conclusion. Taking everything into consideration proverbs in English, Russian and Uzbek have distinct semantics. They differ from each other in terms of structure, style, and even pragmatism. National culture proverbs cover up a lot of flaws. They can describe the language and culture that gave rise to proverbs. They help to convey and identify certain language and culture. Cultural points such as national concepts, objects, emotions, customs, famous ancestors, and place names can all be found in the paremiological basis of the language. Proverbs in English, Russian and Uzbek that relate to the idea of "family" represent the nation's mindset, culture, and customs and hold a significant position in its language. There are many different proverbs about families in these languages, and we can find proverbs that are synonymous or antonymous with each other within a certain language and other languages as well.
