A number of scientific studies on the theory of phraseological units have been carried out in world linguistics, and these studies are still ongoing. Phraseological units are formed on the basis of nationality, and as society develops and relations between nations are strengthened, their specific mental characteristics expand. In particular, the examination of phraseological units with an onomastic component in comparison with different systematic languages is one of the urgent tasks facing modern linguistics. In modern linguistics, the study of the formation of phraseological units in the language shows the cultural aspect, the relationship between language and culture as stable expressions, more closely related to the life of the people than other language associations. They were formed on the basis of many centuries of life experiences, and traditions and rituals continue to this day. This feature of phraseological units is especially evident when there are onomastic components in the structure. The reason is that onomastic units have been a bridge between the past and the present of the people. Therefore, special study of phraseological units in different structural languages, creation of their etymology, structure, semantics and classification is one of them. Materials and methods. Time is an important aspect of human life, and its measurement is very important for communication and daily activities. English and Uzbek languages have rich vocabulary and phraseological units related to time measurement. In this article, we will study the phraseological and lexical aspects of time units in English and Uzbek languages. Phraseological problems are also extremely important for practice, they often cause great practical difficulties, because they are related to the semantic and stylistic differences in the tasks performed by words with the same real meaning in different languages, and the use of such words in different languages. determines the difference in the included compounds. It is usually acceptable to indicate the equivalent of a phraseological unit to a word. However, the theory of complete equivalence is becoming obsolete. This means that phraseological units and words do not have something in common, that is, some types of phraseological units are considered by the correlation theory, and these words are based on slightly different principles. Characteristic for phraseological turns of stable combinations, words differ in principle equal to one word, which, as a rule, is carried out by giving a certain expressive and stylistic coloring. 78 Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us Results. The English language has many different words and expressions for measuring time, and they are used in different contexts. The most common units of time in English are seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. There are also more precise units such as milliseconds, microseconds and nanoseconds for shorter times and centuries, millennia for longer times. English also has a number of phraseological units related to time measurement. For example, "a stitch in time saves nine" means that solving a problem early can prevent it from getting bigger. Another example is "time flies when you're having fun", meaning that time flies when you're having fun. Language reflects the culture and traditions of a particular society. The phraseological and lexical aspects of time units in English and Uzbek are influenced by their culture and traditions. The English language is rich in phraseological units and expressions related to units of time. The formation of these expressions is influenced by historical, cultural and geographical features. Analyzing the phraseological and lexical aspects of time units in English and Uzbek languages, it is possible to distinguish several common features:  Both languages have expressions related to rare occurrences or events.  Expressions related to hard times and lack of time are often used.  Both languages have expressions that reflect the speed of time. However, there are some differences to note:  In English, the concepts of "time" and "money" are often connected to each other in phraseological units, but in Uzbek there is no such connection.  The use of an expression related to children and young people in Uzbek indicates that time passes faster at this age. Conclusion. Time units are necessary for communication and daily activities. English and Uzbek languages have rich phraseological and lexical aspects of time measurement, which reflect the values and traditions of their cultures.
