In a historical novel, the author puts forward the concept of a historical person in the image of the main character's writer. Oybek’s work is a historical-biographical novel not only because in it data about Navoi’s personality sets in motion the plot, composition and conflict of the work. This is also due to the presence of important information and facts relating to such historical figures as Hussein Baykara, Majiddin, Badiuzzaman, Muzaffar Mirzo, Khadicha Begim, Binai, Jami, Mumin Mirzo, and others. Fiction and works of art are such a blessing that centuries-old miracles are stored in them, and heroes full of love and knowledge of the language are always alive. Periods pass, each of them creates a genius and leaves his knowledge and creativity to the next generation. XIV-XV centuries occupy a special place in the history of our country. During these centuries, majestic structures - architectural monuments - which have been the pride of the East until now, were built. Literature, art and science developed widely. Alisher Navoi's great works were created as a symbol and result of this development. Navoi was not only a great poet, but also had a great influence on the social, economic, cultural, and educational life of the XV century. The glimmer of Navoi's creativity has reached us and is spreading light to our hearts. It is not surprising that Oybek wanted to introduce Navoi, who was considered the genius of the past centuries, to us through his novel "Navoi" [2]. Oybek's main goal is to create an image of Navoi as a great man, poet and statesman. In order to create the image of Oybek Navoi as a humanist poet and statesman, he included the image of historical figures and artistic textile images in the work. First of all, it should be noted that in the history of our literature, there are not so many attempts to create a full-fledged artistic figure of Alisher Navoi. Oibek's novel "Navoi" (1944), Uygun and Izzat Sultan's drama "Alisher Navoi" (1945), Amon Mukhtar's novels "Ishq ahli" (2007) Alisher Navoi's character is artistically interpreted in the center of historical and social events. Among these works, if we say that the relatively complete, conceptual artistic image of Navoi's personality is expressed in Oybek's novel "Navoi", we should not forget that this work was written almost eighty years ago. That is, we need to take into account that during the past eighty years, social conditions, system, literary and aesthetic views, and even history itself have been updated. Therefore, Isajon Sultan's attempt to reinterpret the image of Alisher Navoi artistically should be considered not only as a personal creative need, but as the fruit of a universal aesthetic need that has matured in our literary and cultural life. Alisher Navoi, the protagonist, is the main character of the work as a historical figure. Oybek used the image of Navoi's attitude towards the Turkish language and literature to create the image of a great poet in the novel. As Haqqani describes in the novel, Navoi loves his mother tongue - Turkish. They bravely fight against those who deny that it is a beautiful and rich language. He creates wonderful works of art that demonstrate the richness of the Uzbek language. 208 Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us In addition to Alisher Navoi, historical figures such as Abdurahman Jami, Husayn Boygaro, Badiuzzamon, Khadicha Begum, Momin Mirza, Darveshali, Binai, and Majididdin are depicted in the novel. These images play an important role in revealing Navoi's character, through which he showed the life of that time truthfully [2]. He decided to embody Navoi's character, to illuminate his outer and inner world. For this reason, in the work, the human qualities typical of Navoi - learning, correctness, goodness, justice, truth, solidarity, nobility, kindness, goodness, straightforwardness, valuing time, profession, proverbs about language and many other topics have taken place. Under the influence of the listed factors, Oybek pays more attention to the aspects of Navoi, such as generosity and poverty, and emphasizes the socialization of the historical figure. Literary critic Matyakub Koshjanov, writing about the novel "Navoi", says that "the main goal of the writer in the novel was to reveal the humanitarian ideas typical of the great poet Alisher Navoi" [4]. Azod Sharafiddinov also writes similar words on the same issue: "While creating the character of Oybek Navoi, first of all, he attaches great importance to the fact that he is a great humanist, to express his views not only as an artist, but also as a thinker" [3]. Indeed, in Oybek, Navoi is brought to life as a humanist poet who tirelessly works for the well-being, development, and peace of the people. True, it is clear as day that Navoi is not without such qualities historically. However, at this point, we draw attention to the fact that Oibek emphasizes this aspect of Navoi's life and character, and tries to bring it to the forefront in the concept of a historical person. Another accomplished literary critic Naim Karimov pays special attention to certain aspects of Oybek's concept of historical personality: "The writer artistically interpreted such issues as the just king and the people, Navoi and the people, Navoi and war, Navoi and the fate of culture, Navoi and the friendship of peoples, and He advanced his socio-philosophical views, which are important for his contemporaries and instructive for future generations, through the image of a poet" [2]. In addition, in the novel, Navoi is a humanist, in some sense a representative of the people, and contrasts with medieval feudalism. Oibek himself writes about his novel: "In the novel Navoi, I mainly tried to reflect the social life of that time, strong intrigues, and complex political events" [5]. As Adib noted, special attention is paid to the depiction of "strong (political) intrigues" in the novel "Navoi". Textile images are also used in this. From the point of view of the ideological demand of his time, it was necessary for Oybek to do so, to exaggerate the evil of feudalism as much as possible. It must be admitted that the public's imagination about Navoi's life, the period in which he lived and historical figures who were his contemporaries was formed through the novel "Navoi". The reason is that, until this novel, there was no large-scale literary work about Navoi in Uzbek literature, or about medieval feudalism in general. This novel by Oybek not only introduced Navoi's genius to the public, but also introduced the reader to the historical, political and social life of five centuries ago. In other words, in the 40s of the last century, the writer Oybek made famous such historical figures as Husayn Boygaro, Jami, Khadicha Begum, and Majididdin. Our imaginations about these historical figures are also imprinted in our minds in the interpretation of Oybek. Now, the need to recreate the historical artistic image of these persons naturally arose based on recent researches and newly discovered historical facts. It can be said that Oybek did not aim to show the stages of the formation of Navoi's character: "The formation of the heroic character is not perfectly presented in the work. The writer is limited to making some comments or making short comments about it" [2]. Aybek covers Navoi's entire life in his work. Of course, there are serious reasons for this. First of all, Navoi was already famous as a poet in Movarounnahr and Khurasan until he was 18 years old. Therefore, in order to create a holistic image of Navoi as a historical person, there is a need to describe his childhood and adolescent life, and to search for the main factors that influenced his development as a poet from this period. Moreover, from the point of view of the current world map, Navoi's adolescence is closely related to Uzbekistan. During this period, Navoi lives in Samarkand, creates and studies. As we mentioned above, with the passage of time, the need to look at historical reality, historical figures from other perspectives, and artistic interpretation will naturally arise. The work is literally the fruit of a new generation. We hope that it will become an important source for the new generation to understand Navoi, to understand his work, and to encounter the great thinker. This novel by Oybek, who was able to beautifully describe the image of Navoi, who is considered a bright figure and a great thinker in Uzbek classical literature, will live forever with the rare examples of Alisher Navoi's work. When you look at the novel, the bright figure of the noble, gentle poet looks at you lovingly from the pages. In this way, with the passage of time, the need to look at historical reality, historical figures from other perspectives, and artistic interpretation naturally arises. In this sense, Oibek's novel "Navoi" enriches not only our imaginations about Navoi, but also our knowledge about the history of five centuries. We hope that it will become an important source for the new generation to understand Navoi, to understand his work, and to face the great thinker. A distinctive feature of the novel is that it reflects historical events that occupy a significant place in the work. Oybek deeply studied historical works and archival materials. As a result, the spirit of that time emerges even more clearly. Having deeply comprehended the concept of the historical and biographical genre, the writer created a highly artistic example. This meant that Uzbek novelism had truly reached artistic maturity. It is no coincidence that the emergence of great Uzbek prose on the world stage is associated with Oybek’s novel “Navoi”. Oybek in the image of Navoi vividly embodied the progressive aspects of the historical development of the state, an important era of national revival. The novel "Navoi" - one of the best realistic works - has been translated into many languages of the world. I would like to quote an excerpt from the novel “A silk-wrapped stretcher with Alisher’s body was carried out on the shoulders of the poet’s friends - beks, nobles and noble people of Herat. Screams shook the sky. As if not wanting to remain indifferent to the great grief, the clouds also shed drops of tears. Stretchers passed by thousands hands, in an instant they moved away from Unsia, swaying over the human sea. Everyone considered it his duty to touch them at least with the tip of his fingers. Having passed through many hands, the stretcher stopped on Id-Gah. Hussein Bayqara solemnly appeared. They read the funeral prayer, the stretcher floated along again waves of the human sea... The poet was buried in a building built by himself, in a mosque, where he had previously prepared for himself a place of eternal rest. Herat cried over the great grave. The huge portals and sky-like domes of the mosque shook with sorrowful cries. By evening, crowds of people in the streets , in the squares and gardens thinned out.
