This article covers the expression of the concept of time in French by terms and lexical expressions and their classification. In this article, time-related terms are classified into classes Key words: nouns related to time, verbs related to time, phrases related to time. Introduction Time is an intangible concept that determines the order of events and determines their change. It is often associated with continuity and is a key element of our daily lives. The concept of time is interesting and important, and at the same time complex, because through it we perceive everything that is. "All valuable things in the world are open to double reading in the space of the mind," wrote J. Deleuze1. "Time is of course measured by motion, and motion cannot exist without time. Moreover, since motion is only the result of another motion, we cannot imagine that the world was ever devoid of time. Thus the world and time , surely eternal."2 The concept of time is a basic and universal concept that has different meanings and interpretations across languages and cultures. There are lexical expressions of the concept of time in different languages. In French, the concept of time can be expressed in a wide range of terms and expressions.
