The article analyzes the reflection of moral values through the famous fairy tale by Jean- Marie Le Prince de Beaumont "Beauty and the Beast". The article examines the main themes of the fairy tale - patience, compassion, high morality - and how each of them is expressed in the fairy tale and shown through the characters. The book also discusses the relationships between male and female characters, the moral decisions and spiritual lessons they teach readers. The behavior of the characters in the fairy tale and the role of educational significance attached to them in the socio- cultural context are also analyzed. Key words: patience, empathy, high morality, moral values, spiritual education, social responsibility, male and female heroes, human qualities. Introduction Jan-Mari Leprins de Bomon’s fairy tale “Sohibjamol va Maxluq” holds a special place in literature due to its profound moral content and educational significance. This fairy tale serves not only as a tool for children but also encourages adults to reflect on moral values, spiritual education, and human virtues. The main themes of the story – patience, compassion, and high morality – each carry their own unique importance and significance. The relationships between Sohibjamol and the creature, the hardships they endure, and the moral decisions made by the characters provide valuable lessons to readers. In the story, the main characters, Sohibjamol and the creature, display great patience, mercy, and moral integrity in their interactions. These values manifest not only from a moral standpoint but also through life events. Sohibjamol, facing the challenges and trials that come her way, endures with patience, finding inner strength and achieving high morality. Additionally, her compassion and mercy towards the creature guide her in choosing the right path in life. The story doesn't only showcase the dialogues between the two characters but also highlights the moral struggles within each of them. Such moral values play a significant role in the upbringing of younger generations. By reading the fairy tale, students learn about the practical applications of patience, compassion, and high morality and how to incorporate these virtues into their own lives. Sohibjamol’s decisions and actions, her ability to choose the right path, and her understanding of her human responsibilities reflect one of the key educational messages of the tale. 1. Sohibjamol's perseverance and struggle against adversity in the story serve as a significant example. 2. Compassion: Mercy and empathy for others. Compassion plays a crucial role in the fairy tale. The relationship between Sohibjamol and the creature and their mutual mercy and empathy express this value. Sohibjamol’s relationship with the creature shows that she not only thinks of herself but also understands the situation of others and is ready to offer help.
