This scientific article discusses one of the most important issues for us: educating young people with high spirituality, modern knowledge and professional skills, and independent thinking in the spirit of national and universal values. Indeed, young people constitute more than half of our republic's population. The article also addresses how youth understand the national idea, how it becomes their faith and conviction, and what new values are being formed. This is because, firstly, the national idea views youth as its object, and secondly, young people are considered the progressive developers of the national idea and its transmitters to future generations. Key words: national idea, upbringing - individual, social group, nation, society, schools, lyceum, technical college, higher education institutions, mass media, public organizations. The more young people are armed with and understand the national idea, the more society will progress. This circumstance determines the interdependence of the national idea and youth. In other words, the more meaningful the national idea is, the more it serves to determine the long-term goals and interests of each person, and ultimately, the future of the nation, the faster young people will accept it and form their own positive attitude towards it. Therefore, whatever ideas and thoughts society offers to young people through national ideology, it will have ideologically resilient, patriotic youth who have acquired modern knowledge. Young people belong to such a social group of society that they have acute emotional cognitive abilities and are more sensitive to discrepancies between words and actions. Certain "injustices" common to adults can cause serious harm to the still- developing consciousness and worldview of young people. Therefore, today, spiritual and moral conditions related to the national idea, national pride, and honor are of great importance among young people. It is necessary not to be afraid to tell the truth to young people, to avoid hypocrisy, and to openly state existing difficulties and problems. At the same time, the positive work being carried out by the leadership of our state and the efforts being made to eliminate existing problems deserve praise. The significance of the national idea for mobilizing youth, inspiring them, and calling them to a great future, as well as its place and role in education and upbringing, are determined by how well it corresponds to the realities of life and the lives of the people. Ideological education is a process aimed at shaping the worldview of individuals, social groups, nations, and society, and equipping them with ideological knowledge that expresses specific goals. If the ideas are fair and genuine, if they meet the needs of the majority, if the educational tools in this area are effective, and if the educators are active and dedicated, the intended goal of ideological education will be achieved. The likelihood of falling under the influence of alien and harmful ideas increases when society and the people have not yet realized their interests, formed their ideology, and are not mobilized towards their goals. This makes it an urgent task to establish ideological education and to constantly instill the principles of a healthy ideology in the hearts and minds of the population. In the context of Uzbekistan, the main task of ideological education is to explain to the general public, especially to young people, the centuries-old aspirations and goals of our people on the path to 2 AMERICAN Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us building a free and prosperous Homeland, a free and prosperous life, and the essence of the National Ideology of Independence. Ideological education in society requires the joint activity of families, preschool institutions, schools, lyceums, technical schools, higher educational institutions, mass media, and public organizations. The system of continuous education is the main link in the implementation of ideological education, since the task of instilling ideological goals in the minds of young people is mainly carried out through education. Young people have a strong inclination towards truth and are deeply disgusted by hypocrisy, deception, and individuals whose words don't match their actions. They have a strong spirit of aversion towards such behavior. In shaping feelings of national pride and honor, the cultural heritage of the people, national values, the exemplary lives of great thinkers, and today's achievements play a crucial role. Abu Nasr Farabi's "The City of Virtuous People," Yusuf Khas Hajib's "Kutadgu Bilig," Nizamulmulk's "Siyasatnama," Amir Timur's "Tuzuklari," and Alisher Navoi's "Mahbub ul-Qulub" serve as historical and scientific sources for instilling ideas of social justice within the national ideology of independence into the minds of the younger generation. There are tasks related to correctly guiding youth towards national values. Because "a state with a great future must, first and foremost, care about the culture, education, and spirituality of its future citizens. As we leave a free and prosperous homeland as a legacy to the younger generation, intending for them to continue the great work of our thinkers and state leaders, we must pay attention to the spiritual awakening of youth. The time has come to awaken from the slumber of negligence and look to the future with bright eyes. The development of the nation's spirituality and education depends on highly educated youth. Otherwise, there is a risk that young people will become rootless individuals and cheap labor, devoted only to money. There are prerequisites for Uzbekistan to become a great state in the future: we have a great history and a rich spiritual heritage. We have a culture of global significance and its successors, our homeland's favorable climate and nature, and countless underground and surface resources. Youth plays a significant role in the social changes taking place during the years of independence. Thanks to independence, the worldview of young people has changed. Their feelings of pride, honor, and dignity are growing stronger. Their attitude towards life and work, love for the Motherland and native land, and sense of ownership and responsibility have increased. Now young people are beginning to understand their identity. Along with the awareness of the land on which we live and the striving for universal values, the light of Eastern philosophy and Uzbek thought has begun to take root in everyone's hearts. The principle of restoring and developing our national traditions and customs has strengthened. Appreciating our Islamic religion has led to enriching our spirituality with new meanings. We have begun to truly inherit the cultural heritage of our great ancestors. We have gained the opportunity to be proud of them. Conditions have been created for the peaceful coexistence of representatives of all nations and ethnicities living in our country. Young people are benefiting from this. Numerous measures are being taken in our republic to transform and humanize the consciousness and worldview of the emerging civil society and the youth residing within it. The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, guaranteeing human freedom and liberty, was adopted. A number of universities have been established, and our educational system has incorporated world standards, while the most advanced and humane principles of our spiritual heritage form the basis in the field of upbringing. Measures have been defined to strengthen the Armed Forces and security of our Motherland, and to ensure that citizens have peace and tranquility in their homes and workplaces. Reforms in our education system have led to the establishment of modern lyceums and colleges. The establishment of the Academy of Arts, celebrations dedicated to such figures of our national culture as Imam Ismail Bukhari, Amir Temur, Babur, Ulugbek, Bahauddin Naqshband, al-Farghani, Moturidi, Khoja Ahror-Vali, and the constructed complexes represent the real spiritual work being carried out by the new society. They are not only a symbol of the strength of the new society but also 3 AMERICAN Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us play an important role in the formation of national consciousness and a new worldview, strengthening national pride among young people. The first and highest blessing of independence was the realization of our identity. The primary sign of self-aware thinking is the embrace of the national idea and national ideology. Peace and stability in our country prevented internal conflicts that could arise within the framework of the national ideology and allowed it to penetrate the hearts of young people on a large scale. As changes in the consciousness and thinking of young people intensify, it indicates that they are beginning to deeply feel that their lives and futures are connected with the future of the nation and the country. Attempts to "capture the minds and hearts of young people in the world" persist. In particular, we must not be indifferent to the issues of shaping the thinking and worldview of young people. Therefore, the persistence of ideological threats encourages young people to think as well. At first glance, an ideological threat may not be immediately noticeable. Because ideas are formed in human consciousness and thinking. Accordingly, it is necessary to prevent and guard against any threats that endanger consciousness and thinking. In a secular civil society, everyone should do their own work, and "religion should do the work of religion, while the state should do the work of the state." Just as the state does not interfere in religious matters, religion should not interfere in state affairs and political processes. If there are those among our youth who wish to see the development of religious values and the beauty of spiritual growth in their country, they must, first and foremost, be children of their time, knowledgeable and enlightened individuals who possess national ideas and ideology. They must possess knowledge and understanding at the level of modern thinking, while not being disconnected from our eternal spiritual values. Indeed, as President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized: "Along with modern education and upbringing, we must properly explain to our youth the humanitarian essence of our sacred religion, which is deeply ingrained in our blood, and seriously think about educating them in the spirit of noble ideas. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we did not pay serious attention to this issue in a timely manner, there are cases of young people falling under the influence of radical trends." The more young people unite and consolidate on the path of the national idea, national thinking, and national ideology, the higher our strength, position, and place will rise in the eyes of the world's peoples. We are not a state or people that relies on other states, seeks protection from other states, or clings to their coattails; only independent politics, independent thinking, and independent actions have always evoked respect and attention from others. The fruits of dependence, under any circumstances, prevent the development of the nation. To form a healthy worldview, it is necessary to pay attention to the following objective conditions and factors: ➢ The socio-political, spiritual-ideological environment. ➢ Healthy ideas. ➢ The growth of political consciousness and legal culture. ➢ The level of knowledge of young people. Today, as we are building a society based on citizens' freedom and independent thinking, we must explain to our youth that there is no absolute freedom in society, and that independent thinking does not mean irresponsibility or forgetting one's duty. Our noble goals - the great future of our country, our tomorrow, our free and prosperous life, and Uzbekistan's place in the world community in the 21st century - all of this depends, first and foremost, on what kind of people our children, the new generation, will become. Every person who wants the future of our Motherland, the happiness and prospects of their descendants, regardless of who they are or what position they hold, should not stand aside from the 4 AMERICAN Journal of Language, Literacy and Learning in STEM Education www. grnjournal.us issue of spiritual and ideological education of our children. Today, no one has the right to be indifferent to this extremely important issue. Therefore, the upbringing of youth and the foundation of this upbringing lies in instilling the core roots of national ideology, such as the ideas of independence that drive their spirituality, the sense of preserving and developing national values, and honest and pure labor for the future of the Homeland.
