Globalization processes, cultural exchanges and economic cooperation increase the need-to-know foreign languages. Today, there are various methods of learning foreign languages, each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. This article provides detailed information about modern methods of learning foreign languages, their effectiveness and practice. Foreign languages, cooperation, modern technologies, methods, traditional education, modern education system. Introduction One of the most used methods in the process of learning foreign languages is the traditional method of education. This method is used in the teaching process in schools, universities and language centers. In the traditional method of education, students learn the materials given by the teachers in the lessons. The advantages of this method include teacher control, curriculum structure, and student-to-student interaction. However, the traditional method also has its drawbacks. Students often focus on theoretical knowledge and may have limited opportunities for practical communication and language use. Along with the development of modern technologies, new methods have appeared in the process of learning foreign languages. The Internet and mobile applications have become effective tools for learning foreign languages. Through online platforms and mobile applications, students have the opportunity to learn a language at a time, place and speed convenient for them. Applications such as Duolingo, Babbel, Rosetta Stone offer users to learn a language through interactive lessons, games and tests. These applications increase the interest of students and make the learning process more interesting. The use of video and audio materials in learning foreign languages is also common. [1] Watching movies and series with subtitles, listening to music and learning through podcasts allows students to learn the language in a practical way. Through this method, students better understand the pronunciation, intonation and cultural context of the language. At the same time, through such materials, students have the opportunity to choose topics that match their interests, which makes the learning process more interesting. Immersive methods are also important in the process of learning foreign languages. Immersive learning is a method of placing students in an environment where they are learning a language. In this way, students can live, work or travel in a foreign language environment. In the process of immersive learning, students have the opportunity to use the language in practice, which accelerates their language acquisition process. The group teaching method is also widely used in learning foreign languages. In group learning, students work together, help each other, and learn from each other. In the process of group teaching, students have the opportunity to solve problems together, exchange ideas and express mutual opinions. [2] Such an environment helps students to develop their self-expression and communication skills. In the process of learning foreign languages, games and gamification methods are also effectively used. Through games, students can make language learning fun and interesting. Games help students practice language, learn new words, and memorize rules. Through the gamification method, students will have the opportunity to monitor their progress, achieve their goals and manage their learning processes. This method helps to increase the motivation of students and makes the learning process more effective.[3] One of the ways to learn modern foreign languages is to work with private teachers. Private tutors provide students with an individual approach and tailor lessons to their needs. This method helps to solve specific problems of students and accelerates their learning process. Working with private tutors also gives students the opportunity to study topics that match their interests. The use of social networks in learning foreign languages is also one of the modern methods. Through social networks, students will have the opportunity to communicate with people who know a foreign language, exchange ideas and make new friends. This method helps students develop their communication skills and increases their ability to use the language in practice. Through social media, students can join groups and communities that match their interests, making the learning process more effective.[4] It is important to increase students' motivation in the process of learning foreign languages. Motivation is necessary for students to actively participate in the learning process and achieve their goals. Different methods can be used to increase students' motivation. For example, motivation can be increased by motivating students for their success, using interesting and innovative approaches in the learning process, as well as choosing materials that match the interests of students. In the process of learning foreign languages, it is also important to develop students' ability to self-assess. Students can track their progress by assessing their knowledge and skills. The process of self-assessment helps students identify their shortcomings and take necessary steps to overcome them. This process helps students to participate more actively in the learning process and achieve their goals.[5] Conclusion: In short, modern methods of learning foreign languages offer many opportunities and advantages. Methods such as traditional educational methods, online platforms, immersive learning, group teaching, games and gamification, working with private teachers, social networks and increasing motivation make the process of learning foreign languages more effective and makes it interesting. Students can choose the methods that suit their needs and achieve success in the process of learning foreign languages. With the help of modern technologies and innovative approaches, the process of learning foreign languages is becoming more convenient and effective. The success of this process depends on the interests, motivations and self-assessment skills of the students. Therefore, in the process of learning foreign languages, it is important to choose approaches that match the needs of students.
