Elementary school, thinking, imagination, mnemonic method, phrase, meaning, visual images, concept, method, methodology, language, consciousness, speech, oral speech, written speech. INTRODUCTION The level of thinking of students of primary school age depends on how well they have mastered their mother tongue. If young students can speak fluently and express their thoughts in their place, their thoughts can be fully expressed through oral and written speech. In primary grades, students' knowledge of the language is necessary not only for their academic views, but also for their everyday life. Language is a social phenomenon, and its connection with thinking and social consciousness is extremely integral and close. Language signs—words, phrases, and sentences—are material forms that objectively reflect the ideal products of the mind—from concrete ideas to the most abstract and generalizing concepts or judgments. Language is not only a means of expressing or exchanging ideas, but also a means of forming and reinforcing ideas in the social consciousness. Language is the wealth of the society, it implements the interaction of the members of the society, gathers knowledge about all the events that happen in the material and spiritual life of a person and informs about them. Language is literally formed and exists for centuries. Thinking develops and updates a little faster than language, but thinking without language is inconceivable. As thought cannot exist without language, language cannot exist without thought. We speak and write while thinking, trying to express our thoughts more clearly and comprehensibly in language. Thoughts in a person appear on the basis of language and are strengthened in it, language and thinking form a whole. [1] Therefore, it will be appropriate if students are deeply inculcated with the concepts of language. Because, through language, students agree with their peers, participate in game activities, and by listening to other people, they get information and communicate. American Journal of Research in Humanities and Social Sciences Volume 12, May, 2023 P a g e | 54 www.americanjournal.org LITERATURE ANALYSIS AND METHODS Speech activity is the process of human use of language for the purpose of mastering socio-historical experience and passing it on to generations or establishing communication and planning one's own actions. Communication is an important condition of human life and activity. In the process of communication, certain images and models of human behavior are formed, and later they enter into a person. A person's thinking, the ability to analyze and evaluate the world and his image is formed in the process of communication. The Polish psychologist E. Melibruda, who made a detailed assessment of this problem, emphasizes the following: "Communication is as important as air for us in interpersonal relations." [2] Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the child for the process of communication even in primary grades. In the speech of students of junior school age, we come across situations where many words are used without understanding the meaning. This indicates that the meaning of certain words in the language is not fully understood in the minds of students. Pupils cannot fully understand the meaning of phrases in the lessons, because phrases are used figuratively, and the alternative is brikmas equal to one word. Memorization of these words by students of junior school age is a complex process. The process is a little easier if you approach it through mnemonic techniques. Method 1: Explaining the meaning of the phrase "getting out of one's head" to the student through an interesting activity will help the student retain the meaning. In this case, the meaning of the phrase is explained by repeatedly emphasizing that during the time when the students are working in groups, the group should work together "Together" and "Together" and give a single opinion to the given questions. will be remembered by the reader. Method 2: If the meaning of the alternative of the phrase "sticking out of one's neck" is given with a picture and the meaning is explained based on this picture, colorful images are better stored in the minds of the students than a dry word. DISCUSSION From the obtained results, it can be seen that the students understand the meaning of the phrase "Standing out of one's head" on the basis of a picture or in the process of performing a practical task, rather than the information that the meaning of the phrase "To be united" is the same. it is easier for them to learn and this leads to a better retention of the meaning in the memory The mother tongue is the first language that plays a special role in the formation of thinking. According to psychologists, "thinking is verbal", that is, thinking is closely related to words, and words represent concepts. [3] CONCLUSION School education plays an important role in the development of a student's personality. The thinking of elementary school students is directly related to the level of language proficiency. If students learn the possibilities of the language in-depth in primary education, they will not face difficulties in finding their place in society and in the process of interpersonal communication. For this, the meaning of the words and phrases that are difficult to understand in the language should be instilled in the student's mind by the teacher.
