During this research, I conducted participant observation in anti-trafficking NGOs, document analysis of NGOs’ reports, forms, and published materials, as well as interviews with anti-trafficking activists and returned or repatriated female victims of sex trafficking who received social assistance in IOM rehabilitation centers and non-governmental organizations in different regions of Russia and Ukraine.3 When analyzing interviews, I paid special attention to institutional practices and categories applied in relation to their clients, and institutional effects on women’s lives and subjectivities.	cache/aeer-665.htm	txt/aeer-665.txt
