In this paper, I attempt to move beyond the assumption of autonomy in youth media production about social justice issues in order to conceptualize of youth political engagement through new media in ways that do not require a causal relationship between action and resolution of social inequalities, in order to understand how it is young people come to wonder about and provoke change and questions of citizenship in today’s world while they produce media.	cache/spir-9000.pdf	txt/spir-9000.txt
