MS Mardan, Pakistan Goats Rearing Under Islamic Teachings and its Profitable Impact on Agricultural Economics Abstract This article is written on goat rearing animal based agricultural economy, Goats rearing has been given preferences and admitted as source of to end poverty and assorted blessing as mentioned in Hadith. Because blessing Barakat means increase. Therefore goat has got such characteristic to give enhance breeding. For example, goat has the potential to give birth one to three offspring twice a year. It has been examined that goat breeds one to three offsprings twice a year; in this way a goat breeds at average of four offsprings per year. Goat meat has low quantity of fats and considered as quality meat, and the milk of goat is considered as best and the substitute of mothers milk for the infants, On this account, it is suggested that philanthropists, government and non-governmental organizations should focus on goat farming and should provide the goat to the low income rural population so that their income may be increased. Capitalists (rich persons) can start goat farming not only to establish profitable business and to improve the personal and national economy but also to provide meat and milk for society. Keywords: Halal (permissible to use in Islam) Barakah (blessing) Goats Rearing (foaming) Introduction Islam is heavenly religion which based on revelation and Muhammad (S.A.W) is the prophet of the Allah Almighty. Hadith are the saying of Muhammad (S.A.W) which has been revealed on the heart of Him by Allah Almighty and which is commonly known as “Shareat”. The teachings of Muhammad (S.AW) are the sources of success for the Ummah in this world and world after i.e. the Day of Judgment as well. As He has led the Ummah in religious affairs, similarly he has done so in social affairs too. Economy is one of these social affairs. Shareat has led us regarding economy very perfectly. Then there are several fields of economy, one of them is Agriculture. Agriculture is one of the major fields of economy which provides the public nutrition and garments. Animals are considered very important components of the agriculture economy and used as the source of meat and milk supply to mankind. Here in agricultural economy perspective the persuasion of goat rearing is discussed. In hadith goats are mentioned as (blessing) barakah. In this research work it has been substantiated that its breeding, meat and milk are the sources of that particular barakah. Moreover, goat is the source of increase in the farm income and is the best source to widen the national economy and According to the teachings of Islam, it is a rewardable and sacred profession. Objectives Animal rearing was known as the symbol of richness in ancient times where the economy of people was mostly based on agricultural. Even today new ways are adopted to improve the agricultural economy. As in the early days the utility of animals was admitted and now when the population of the world is increasing, animals are the source of milk and meat supply. Goat is the one sort of Halal meat among the pet animals, which meat has low quantity of fats and its milk is very much meritorious. In this research work it has been presented that in Hadith goat has been declared as the increasing of Barakah. Moreover, this Barakah has the effect on national and individual economy in addition meat and milk to provide. Because of these facts animals rearing is the source of family income and improvement of national agricultural economy at the same time. Similarly this research work elaborates that Muhammad (S.A.W) has declared the goat rearing is the better source to increase family income. Thus goat farming may be adopted not only to increase the family income but also to provide the society some sort of good quality meat and milk. Hypotheses Goat rearing Islamic Teachings and agricultural economy Data In respect of Agricultural Economy, goat rearing is the best source of income as compared to all types of Halal pet animals. Goat rearing is prophetic profession. Musa (A.S) has grazed goats. Every prophet including the prophet of Islam has grazed the goats as mentioned in the Hadith i . Umme Hani says the prophet of Islam said do rear goats because it is barakah blessing ii . Ayesha say that the prophet of Islam (S.A.W) asked a person how much of barakah is in your home, means one or two goats iii . Umme Hani Daughter of Abu Talib says the, prophet of Islam came to my home and said why I don’t find barakah in your house; I asked which barakah you don’t find in my house. He said I don’t see any goad in your house iv . Goat is the sources to eliminate the poverty. Anas Bin Malik says, Goat blocks seventy doors of poverty in house v . Goat is the animal of paradise. Abdullah Bin Omar says the prophet of Islam said goat is the animal of paradise vi . It seems from the Hadith about goats that it is an able and blessing animal. Moreover, the prophets have grazed the goats which increase the importance of goat rearing as in Hadith. Abu Horara says the prophet (S.A.W) said that all the prophets sent by Allah have grazed the goats. Suhaba (the companions of the prophet of Islam) asked you too? He said yes, I used to graze goats for Makah peoples for some wages vii . Analysis: In the light of Hadith goat is a source of blessing which is analyzed below. Numbers of kids: Goats in normal condition may give birth 1to3 kids twice a year it means that Goat may give 4to 6 kids in one year viii . Goat is more suitable for meat as compared to other pet animals, because it became adult soon and thus its meat becomes edible in short time. 2. Goat meat has low quantity of fats as compared to others pet animals. 3. Goat is fertile in the terms of breeding and becomes adult in short time that’s why it generates many offspring and thus becomes the source of more income. Goat milk is considered easily digestible and meritorious that’s why it is used as the substitute of mother’s milk for infants. In Hadith goat has been declared as blessing animal which means that every respect goat is a blessing animal and has business and personal uses. Animal Experts think that goat is an animal which has quality to produce more offspring similarly its meat is good and milk is substitute of mother’s milk for the infants because of its good qualities Conclusion So it can be conclude on the basis of these Hadith and other sources that 1. Goat grazing is easy and economical compared to others pet animals. It requires short place to dwell and the food required for it is quite simple like leftover edible foodstuff. 2. Goat is more suitable for meat as compared to other pet animals, because it becomes adult quickly and thus its meat becomes edible in short time. 3. Goat meat has low quantity of fats as compared to other pet animals. 4. Goat is fertile in terms of breading and becomes adult in short time that’s why it generates many off springs and thus becomes the sources of more income. 5. In terms of milk some kinds of goat give milk from two to five KG/day for eight months. 6. Goat milk is considered easily digestible and meritorious that’s why it is the substitute of mother’s milk for infants. In Hadith goat has been declared as blessing animals and has business and personal uses. Animal experts think that goat is an animal which has the quality to produce more off springs, similarly its meats is good and milk is the substitute of mother’s milk for infants because of its good qualities.
