During its second year, the International Theological Librarian
Education Taskforce (ITLET) worked on two initiatives to achieve our
charge—“to strengthen and connect theological and religious studies
librarians worldwide by identifying resources, creating educational
opportunities, and developing skill enhancement materials through
collaboration efforts.”

The first initiative was continued development of the Theological
Librarian’s Handbook. The introductory volume is nearing completion
and will be published open access by the end of this year. The second
volume of the series will be chosen this next year and the writing
process will begin.

The second initiative was the first ever Atla International Theologi-
cal Librarian Leadership Institute held at Atla Annual 2019 in Vancou-
ver, BC. Three global theological librarians attended the Institute:
Arnel Faller from Silliman University Divinity School in Philippines,
Roman Shvets from Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary
in Ukraine, and Nalini Premadish from Pacific Theological College
