Editorial This issue coincides with the first meeting of the new Australian Society for Educational Technology. The chapters have now come together to form a national association which will be incorporated in the ACT. It is hoped that the success of the last few years will be continued under the new national constitution. This issue is an eclectic one which combines the talents of many different interests. It is encouraging to see further contributions from outside Australia and I hope that we can see more interchange between Australian and especially our near neighbours, especially in Southeast Asia. Over the next few months I hope to encourage participation in the journal by our colleagues in the region. AJET welcomes your contributions to the next issue, please ensure that your paper or ideas reach us before the deadline (November 11th 1989) and preferably a hard copy with a disc (IBM or Macintosh format).
