The administration of the aqueous macerate of A. gummifera decreased cholesterolemia and serum triglyceride levels in diabetic mice with statistically significant differences compared to untreated diabetic mice and non-diabetic mice in the range of 1.2 ± 0.1 and 0.9 ± 0.1 g/L.
