(2015) recognized 65 species in their revised infrageneric classification of Dimeria R. Br. and classified them into four sections. The detailed study of specimens from three different collections (Biju & Jomy 1166, Biju & Jomy 1193, Biju & Jomy 2810) of three populations revealed that it is an interesting specimen of Dimeria R.
