This is very different from other education. Teenagers' aesthetic education should always adhere to the combination of theoretical research and practical experience, indoctrination education and inspiration education, explicit education and implicit education, and teacher guidance and personal perception as the core. Keywords: Social Media; Teenagers; Aesthetic Education. 1. Introduction With the continuous development of network technology, the Internet has become an indispensable part of many people's lives. However, the Internet has also profoundly changed the human experience. This is also reflected in interpersonal relationships based on social media. Social media has flourished after deep integration with the global Internet. It has the distinctive characteristics of quickness, integration, personalization, interactivity and openness, and it is effectively integrated into people's study, life and work, and subtly changes people's life, thinking and habits [1]. At the present stage, the negative effects of social media are becoming more and more obvious in the aesthetic education of teenagers, which requires educators and social experts and scholars to pay more attention to it and avoid the strong influence of bad social media on aesthetic education of teenagers [2]. Especially for teenagers, it is of great significance how to positively educate their aesthetics. 2. The Value of Aesthetic Education in Contemporary Youth Education Aesthetic education is the education of beauty, aesthetic feeling and aesthetic appreciation. Its task is to cultivate people's hearts with beauty, improve people's ability to appreciate and create beauty, and sow the seeds of beauty in people's hearts. Outstanding thinkers, educators and artists at all times and all over the world pay special attention to aesthetic education. Aesthetic education is not only a theoretical problem, but also a practical problem. If people want to appreciate the magnificent beauty of nature, appreciate and pursue the beauty of social life, and explore the mystery of people's spiritual beauty, they need to have corresponding feelings. The primary task of aesthetic education is to guide students to cultivate and improve their interests and hobbies in natural beauty, social beauty, artistic beauty and people's own beauty in aesthetic practice, and to cultivate and improve their sensitivity to beautiful things. There are three traditional ways of aesthetic education for teenagers, which are generally considered as school education, family education and social education. The three goals are consistent, perfectly combined, and the effect is very good. But when the three are inconsistent, it will lead to the dislocation of teenagers' aesthetics and aesthetics, forming a split personality [3-4]. Social media BCP Education & Psychology ESPS 2023 Volume 10 (2023) 56 has a great influence on teenagers' aesthetics. Psychologically speaking, human beings have a tendency to imitate, especially their own idols. For young people with relatively independent thoughts, besides imitating characters, they will see a theme expression or phenomenon inspiration from movies and TV shows. It can discover many essential advantages of success from successful people, and also discover some social laws or recognize social phenomena, so as to guide themselves to success. 3. The Present Situation of Aesthetic Education for Teenagers 3.1 Educators do not Pay Enough Attention to the Aesthetic Education of Teenagers Social media brings both opportunities and challenges to college students' ideological and political education. In order to get to the crux of the problem, this paper compiled a questionnaire survey on the general situation of college students' social media use, covering three aspects: social media's guidance to college students' public opinion, "three views" shaping and mental health. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, and 327 questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 93.4%. Twenty invalid questionnaires were excluded, and 307 questionnaires were valid, with an effective rate of 87.7%. The use of social media has a great influence on college students, especially on their mental health. Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey results (see Table 1), it is found that 98% of the students use social media to spread information, express their opinions and ideas and chat. This shows that the influence of social media on college students' mental health occupies a great factor. Table 1. Investigation on the purpose of using social media option number of people Percentage/% Receive information 91 29.6 Express one's views and thoughts 109 35.5 Chat with others 101 32.9 other 6 2 Polynomial is used to further analyze the linear trend of grade change, and it is found that the linear trend of interpersonal communication and display behavior is significant, as shown in Figure 1. With the growth of grade, teenagers' interpersonal communication and display behavior also began to increase. Figure 1. The development trend of interpersonal communication and display behavior in grades Neither teachers nor parents pay enough attention to the aesthetic education of teenagers, and many teenagers are unwilling to discuss this issue with them because of the communication problems BCP Education & Psychology ESPS 2023 Volume 10 (2023) 57 between elders or teachers and teenagers. Some teenagers don't care whether they can receive aesthetic education for teenagers, but fortunately, most teenagers are still very willing to receive aesthetic education, but there is no way to understand it. 3.2 Absence of Family Aesthetic Education In modern families, most couples are full-time workers. They don't have much time to care about their children's growth and development wholeheartedly, and there is a serious lack of education on the value of life. They can only judge their children's growth by their grades alone [5]. Even if the material conditions in the family are not very good, parents love their children infinitely. Over-protection of children makes teenagers' self-help ability and anti-stress ability more and more unable to adapt to the development of this society, and it is easy to form a habit of relaxing and enjoying. In order to make children get better grades, parents' demands for their children's growth are very utilitarian, and they more or less ignore the cultivation of teenagers' personality and pursuit of life value, which makes teenagers mistakenly think that success in exams is success in life, and Excellence in exams is the greatest pursuit in life. The absence of family and school in aesthetic education for teenagers is very serious [6]. From the analysis of the main ways of students' socialization, family and school should be the two most important socialization places and educational support systems during their growth. However, in aesthetic education, their educational function lags far behind TV media, books and online games. 3.3 Negative Influence of Social Environment Society is the best classroom, and the exemplary role of society is more direct than school education. After students enter youth, it can be said that their main aesthetic concepts and aesthetic concepts are directly controlled by social experience. The school can be said to be a small society to a certain extent, and people's behaviors will influence each other. The perception of social behavior directly or indirectly can directly change or destroy a person's aesthetics [7-8]. Teenagers who enter the society in advance will soon get rid of the shackles of school education, and if they are affected by bad environment, they are likely to become blind pursuers and lifelong practitioners of negative values. 4. The Guiding Role of Social Media in Teenagers' Aesthetic Education 4.1 Sensitization of Aesthetic Standards The development of social media provides a variety of entertainment methods for teenagers. Compared with words, images and sounds are more vivid and intuitive, and people don't need to think. Sensibility replaces rationality. In recent years, the entertainment information is mostly flat information that simply pursues sensory stimulation. Although this information is a comfort to people under pressure, excessive vulgar information will reduce the aesthetic taste of the public [9]. On the one hand, it reflects the tolerant attitude of teenagers towards diversified aesthetics, on the other hand, it also shows that aesthetic standards are more emotional and pay more attention to sensory feelings. On the one hand, the entertainment function of popular culture makes it easier for teenagers to accept and understand, on the other hand, it also creates the perceptual aesthetic taste of the public. The perceptual pursuit of teenagers' aesthetics shows that they are more inclined to accept intuitive images. Reading pictures has become the most important way for contemporary teenagers, and graphics and images have become the main content of contemporary teenagers' reading. From the perspective of teenagers' contact with the media, movies and TV have become the most frequent media for contemporary teenagers. In short, the vulgarization of teenagers' aesthetics is manifested in the neglect of classical and serious literature and art in the choice of teenagers' aesthetic objects, and the popularity of popular and shallow literature works among teenagers. In terms of aesthetic feelings, they no longer advocate BCP Education & Psychology ESPS 2023 Volume 10 (2023) 58 implicative simplicity, but pursue explicit emotional expression, which is more "fast food" characteristics. 4.2 Strengthen Emotional Communication Nowadays, the growth and living environment of teenagers has undergone earth-shaking changes, both in material environment and cultural atmosphere. Parents are the first teachers of teenagers, and the family is the first place for teenagers to receive education. Parents' educational ideas and family atmosphere play an important role in the healthy growth of teenagers. Teenagers especially like professional TV programs and open variety shows that focus on audience participation, and the people who often watch variety shows are the most, followed by movies, music, sports, science and technology education and news. Support and guide popular culture through elegant culture. Through the aesthetic interest education for teenagers, we can improve their ability of discriminating and appreciating, and realize the aesthetic taste of teenagers. Therefore, it is in line with the social reality and the essence of education to explore a new educational approach and supplement a new educational form today when the media is the means and the spirit of entertainment prevails. 4.3 Broaden the Access of Teenagers to Resources In the process of aesthetic education, on the one hand, educators educate people with beautiful objects, on the other hand, in the process of aesthetic education, the educated are in a state of aesthetic passion with strong emotional activities. This is very different from other education. We should use beautiful things to infiltrate the hearts of teenagers, so that they are intoxicated and nourished by beautiful emotions for a long time, so as to give full play to the beautiful aspects of emotional goodness and gradually suppress the ugly aspects to achieve the purpose of emotional education. Internet has greatly changed the way the world exists. Faced with a huge number of resources, if properly used, it will promote teenagers' learning progress and quality improvement. Compared with the traditional classroom teaching method, it broadens the way of growth in helping young people learn by themselves [10]. To carry out aesthetic education, we should also pay attention to actively guiding teenagers. According to the characteristics of teenagers, carrying out experiential education can not only improve their ability to obtain media and information literacy, but also broaden the scope of education. This is also of great help to improve their access to media information literacy. 5. Conclusion At the present stage, the negative effects of social media are becoming more and more obvious in the aesthetic education of teenagers, which requires educators and social experts and scholars to pay more attention to it and avoid the strong influence of bad social media on aesthetic education of teenagers. Especially for teenagers, it is of great significance how to positively educate their aesthetics. Aesthetic education is a kind of education, a kind of learning, which needs to be deeply influenced and imperceptible, and needs long-term efforts and lifelong pursuit. However, this is a pleasant pursuit and noble exploration. It will bring us real pleasure in life. In order to minimize the influence of bad social media on teenagers' aesthetic formation, on the one hand, we should formulate effective reform paths and strengthen the management of film and television, family and school environment, on the other hand, we also need the full help of government departments to improve the supervision and review of cultural markets and improve the quality of social media content.
