BCP Social Sciences & Humanities ISSS 2022 Volume 16 (2022) 370 2020 World Happiness Data Analysis Report Junyu Chen Michigan State University, East Lansing, Detroit, United States Abstract. This survey is mainly based on the statistics of the World Happiness Index data on Kaggle, and the visualization of data produced by Tableau (“Tableau Software is an American intuitively information visualization computer program company centered on trade insights”) to analyze the data. Happiness index is an index value that measures and compares how much or how much happiness people get in a certain period of time. The population currently used in the world to measure is the nationals, which is the national happiness index. The National Happiness Index is an index that measures and compares how much or how much happiness people have achieved in a certain period of time. Generally speaking, the ultimate pursuit of mankind is happiness. Therefore, for the time being, the only important indicator that ultimately measures whether a country is progressing is the happiness index. If any democracy, freedom and scientific development deviate from this direction, there will be no progress, especially democracy, freedom and scientific development with GDP (Gross domestic product) as the core. Keywords: Democracy; Freedom; Happiness Index. 1. Introduction The World Happiness Report is based on the 2020 Gallup World Poll. The survey's main purpose is to study each country's GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity, and freedom from corruption. To evaluate the country's happiness index. The audience for the happiness report is mainly the governments of various countries, who determine the future development direction and policy revisions of the country through the measurement of happiness data. People are the product of the times. For the people of the whole country, the government is the largest and most influential factor among all the factors of the times. Therefore, the government is fully capable of guiding people to pursue noble and harmonious spiritual and cultural desires through investment, publicity, and encouragement, thereby achieving the fundamental goal of people's harmony and happiness. Therefore, the national happiness index can be effectively improved by showing the national happiness index to the government. Figure 1. The darker the color, the more countries there will be. It can be seen from the figure that there are more countries in Europe. “The high levels of contentment reported by Northern Europeans are largely due to the stability of their European countries and their trust in government.” [1] Figure 2. National Ladder Score 2. Happiness Index Report Figure 2 is mainly composed of life evaluation, positive affect, and negative affect. Life evaluation mainly asks the interviewee to choose a number from 0-10 that he thinks is correct. 0 is the worst life he thinks the current life makes him imagine. And 10 is the best life he can imagine. The positive effect is mainly to investigate whether they have 1) enjoyment 2) laughter on the day before the survey. The negative effect is to investigate whether they have recently had 1) worry, 2) sadness 3) anger on the day before the survey. Statistics show that Finland is the most joyful nation within the world. According to a survey on the Aljazeera website, “Finland can become the most joyful nation within the world primarily since Finns appreciate a tall level of individual flexibility, gracious rights, and quality of life. At the same time, Finland's social welfare is exceptionally high. Indeed, on the off chance that you don't have work, you'll get about 1,200 Euros per month.” [2] Figure 3. GWP (Gallup World Poll) Investigate the country from three aspects: material, democracy, and culture. "Fabric great fortune that frees individuals from insufficiency, self-governing political organization that gives flexibility to individuals from legislative persecution, and more agreeable and liberal social standards that show individuals more run to specific themselves and their particular personality." [3] Uzbekistan government pays attention to social welfare and assists disadvantaged groups through concessions, subsidies, and allowances. In the past two years, a series of measures have been taken to strengthen people's health, improve people's lives, protect the low-income class, raise wages, pensions, and various subsidies. On the other hand, because the country's people generally have low academic qualifications, the people are more likely to be satisfied. Luxembourg's advantages are reflected in the banking industry, investment funds, and financial holding companies. At the same time, Luxembourg has a good investment environment and flexible financial supervision.” [4] After World War II, Luxembourg became one of the world's leading financial centers lies on its stable and rational policy and regulatory environment, such as strict bank secrecy laws and abolishing the country's double taxation agreement. Figure 5 focus of social support are End Poverty, Gender Equality, Reduce Inequality, and Rule of Law. Countries in healthy life expectancy From Figure 6, we can see that Singapore has a good living and sanitary environment. It also has clean water, fresh air, and no pollution, making it suitable for human living. Not only, Singapore's medical facilities complete, but the government also provides a lot of medical subsidies to the people. At the same time, trust is also a very important part of Healthy life expectancy. The table counts the respondents' social frequency and whether they have multiple close friends in the survey. It also includes whether there are more friends and relatives for communication and social gatherings. In general, respondents who have more social connections and social activities will be more satisfied with their lives, thereby improving their Healthy life expectancy. 3. Conclusion In general, every country has its advantages and needs to be improved. The happiness index quantifies what people usually call happiness, and it is an assessment of people's fulfillment with their living conditions based on a certain esteem standard. As an critical marker for assessing social improvement, the joy list reflects the people's fulfillment with social improvement and progressively gets to be an vital premise for government decision-making. At present, with the improvement of BCP Social Sciences & Humanities ISSS 2022 Volume 16 (2022) 374 living standards, people's pursuit of happiness is becoming more and more intense. Helping people to improve their happiness index should also be the direction of all countries' efforts. Different countries should improve their national happiness index in different ways. Take China as an example, China's current main development direction should be to improve the spiritual level of the people. The country’s main improvement direction should be to increase people’s desire for a noble and civilized spiritual culture. Such an improvement will not only bring happiness to people, but also benefit the environment and build a harmonious society with society. Because the government is the largest and most influential factor of all time. Therefore, the government is fully capable of guiding people to pursue noble and harmonious spiritual and cultural desires through investment, publicity, and encouragement, thereby achieving the fundamental goal of people's harmony and happiness.
