Keywords: Calibre education; Study of University Library. 1. Introduction In order to adapt to the development of the information age, lifelong learning has shown a trend of globalization. Chinese "Education Law" promulgated in 1995 stipulates that "a life-long education system must be established", which establishes the status of life-long education in law. As a knowledge information center, university libraries not only shoulder the responsibility of information transmission, but also shoulder the important task of implementing information literacy education. In addition to emphasizing the information literacy education of college students, we should also attach importance to information literacy education in adult education, so that the library becomes an important base for adult continuing education. 2. The Meaning of Information Literacy and the Significance of Implementing Information Literacy Education The concept of information literacy evolved from library retrieval skills. It was first proposed by Paul Zurkowski, chairman of the American Information Industry Association, in 1974, when he defined information literacy as use a large number of information tools (mainly referring to information sources) to use information technology and skills to answer questions [1]. Generally speaking, the composition of information literacy includes three meanings: information awareness, information skills, and information ethics. Simply put, information literacy refers to an individual's "ability to recognize when information is needed, and to effectively search, evaluate, and use the required information." Information literacy education is an important part of quality education. Information literacy education is the core element of the development of lifelong education. The implementation of information literacy education for adult students is the need for highly informative social development and the need for knowledge economy and global competition. The Advantages of University Library's Development of Adult Information Literacy Education The task of higher education is to cultivate talents with innovative spirit and ability. The foundation of innovative education is information literacy education, and adult education is an educational way that the society provides all members with lifelong learning opportunities. As an important part of higher education, adult education must keep up with the requirements of educational informatization. First, we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' information quality ability. One of the important functions of university library is the educational function, so we should give full play to its educational function and carry out information quality education. The advantages of the university library in cultivating adult students' information quality can be summarized in the following aspects: First, University Library has created a favorable information environment for the cultivation of adult students' information ability. There are "real collection" and "virtual collection", including rich network information resources such as printed literature, digital literature and characteristic database. These resources are full of attraction to adult students and imperceptibly cultivate their awareness and desire to obtain information. Second, the modern computer network environment and perfect service facilities owned by the library provide opportunities for adult students to use and practice, and provide technical guarantee for cultivating their information quality. Third, the staff of university library is a quality education team with professional knowledge of information retrieval, computer knowledge, foreign language ability and related knowledge. It can provide professional guidance for adult students' information retrieval, acquisition and utilization, and help them master the methods of acquiring knowledge and information. Therefore, the library should give full play to its educational function, implement quality education for adult students and improve their information quality. 4. Effective Ways to Carry out Information Literacy Education in Adult Education 4.1 Optimize the network environment and build a three-in-one collection system University libraries should increase investment in network facilities so that the information service function of the Internet can be fully realized in the library network service. In selecting network equipment and system software, fully consider the needs of networked information transmission to establish a comprehensive and diversified information resource system. In the current network environment, the collective resources of university libraries are mainly physical resources (mainly paper document resources), various academic databases (mainly including Chinese and foreign full-text journals, conferences, dissertations, e-books.), virtual resources on the Internet, etc. According to the development needs of various disciplines, the library adjusts the collection structure promptly manner, and at the same time takes into account the needs of adult education for document resources, and builds a three-in-one collection system of physical resources, academic databases, and virtual network resources to meet the needs of readers at any time and any place. Both can easily use the collection resources. 4.2 Improve library website functions, establish subject navigation, and realize resource sharing Adult education is a form of education that is different from ordinary education. It is a form of education based on self-study and supplemented by face-to-face instruction. Online literature resources, such as the vast ocean, come in various forms, such as e-books, e-journals, online publications, online databases, various audio and image multimedia courseware, practical software, etc. They are rich in content, but they are updated quickly. At present, our library realizes interlibrary loan and original text delivery through CALIS and CASHL. As Table1 shows, CALIS's service system includes four national centers, seven regional centers and northeast defense literature and information center [2]. The resource and service system of CASHL consists of two national centers, five regional centers and ten discipline centers [3]. Through learning, adult students can not only understand and master specific database usage methods, but also grasp the ways to fully obtain subject information under the network environment from a macro perspective, thereby effectively guaranteeing all kinds of information requests. 4.4 Innovative service model, various forms and channels to carry out information literacy education The improvement of adult students' information quality requires multi-level, multi-channel, and comprehensive training and cultivation. The first is to provide guidance to adult students on one or some common issues in the form of special lectures, such as how to write a review document, how to conduct a topic-opening search, how to write a scientific paper, and how to conduct a novelty search before patent application. , How to search for various online literature information, how to use various databases, how to search for a certain topic of literature information, how to choose scientific research methods, etc. The second is to establish a user consultation database based on the subject specialty through the network subject navigation system established by the library website.
