The main function of SASP is to recruit immune cells for tissue damage repair; however, an abundance of senescent cells has a negative effect on tissue restoration and leads to a chronic, low-grade inflammation called “inflammaging”.8 Activation of inflammaging results in decreased clearance of senescent cells, establishing a positive feedback mechanism that ultimately further fuels inflammaging.	cache/bptjm-71.pdf	txt/bptjm-71.txt
