Born in Moscow, Russia and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Tammy 
Ronique Williams is a second year student at the University of Toronto, 

where she is pursuing an Honours Bachelor's Degree in English and 
Caribbean Studies, with a minor in Russian. She hopes to someday 

become a published author. 
 

At 5:30 in the evening, the colours of the day are swept to the 
westernmost end of the island Jamaica creating an array of 

(carefully) blended shades.
