University of Toronto Journal

Volume 7 Issue 1

2023

Resurgence emerges as a powerful and timely theme for exploring the complex and dynamic

realities of the Caribbean region, where histories of resistance, resilience and revolution continue to
shape the possibilities for social justice and transformative change.

The Caribbean Quilt is an interdisciplinary journal focused on elucidating, challenging and redefining dis-

cussions about pertinent issues faced in the Caribbean and its diaspora. This journal highlights the dy-

namic dialectical relations that exist between individuals, institutions, and regional hegemonic forces

through various mediums of expression.
