Indebted to this scholarship, as well as research in waste studies and transnational feminism (such as Max Liboiron, 2013; Liboiron, Tironi, & Calvillo, 2018; Michelle Murphy, 2013, 2017; Murphy et al., 2016), and others centered on waste picker organizing and waste metabolism (Hanson, 2016; Chikarmane, 2016; Harshey & Sharma, 2016; Dias & Ogando, 2015; Buckingham, Reeves, & Batchelor, 2005), I focus on the futurities of menstrual waste, as those futurities involve engaging different senses (sight, smell, touch) in an effort to transform these biological materials, both materially and discursively.	cache/catalyst-32379.pdf	txt/catalyst-32379.txt
