The increasing self-preservation by western countries ended any prospect that the Doha Round of the WTO would be beneficial to Africa and the developing world (represented in the negotiations by Brazil, China, India and South Africa) – and it was not, as agricultural tariffs were only removed for one product, bananas, imported to EU countries and the US from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean (Shah, 2013).	cache/csp-55.pdf	txt/csp-55.txt
