Assari, C. H. Caldwell, & R. Mincy, 2018a; Assari, Thomas, Caldwell, & Mincy, 2018), marital status (Assari & Bazargan, 2019a), and coping (Assari, 2017a, 2017c; Assari & Lankarani, 2016b) all generate less-than-expected tangible developmental outcomes for African Americans than Caucasians. As a result of these MDRs, we observe worse than expected outcomes across all SES levels of African American families (Assari, 2017d; Assari, 2018a; Assari, Caldwell, & Mincy, 2018a; S. Assari, C. H.
