Wiltbank Department of Dairy Science, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI In cattle and other mammalian species, an ideal uterine environment is essential to prepare the uterus for embryonic implantation and growth.1 Many factors such as hormonal milieu, nutritional status, clinical or subclinical uterine infections, and potentially other factors may alter uterine environment resulting in decreased fertility. Recently we described a technique to evaluate endometrial thickness as a predictor of fertility in lactating dairy cows.4 This manuscript is a further analysis of this ultrasound technique to evaluate endometrial thickness.	cache/ct-10161.pdf	txt/ct-10161.txt
