Czar Gazing Twilight of the Czars A microfilm collection of Newspapers from the Russian Revolutionary Era The Columbia University Libraries' collection provides a unique and vital source for students of Russian history, government, and culture. The collection (including Journal de Saint Petersbourg, RusskiiaViedomosti, and Drug) chronicles the revolutionary era in Russia from 1873 to 1927 resulting in the formation of the Soviet Union through critical works questioning Czarist leadership and the tenets of absolute rule. Other major resources have been used to fill in any information that did not exist in Columbia University's holdings — thereby creating a comprehensive reference for the western world. • Now available for acquisition on standing order. • 7 Subscription units—35 reels per unit. • Standing order: $2,295 per unit (15% below regular price).
