Candidates should have a graduate degree in the biological or life sciences and a master’s degree in library science; experience with microcomputers, academic teaching, and online bibliographic databases; and an understanding of research and academic environments and the role of information in a such a setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a changing, dynamic area are essential. Prior experience in an academic library is preferred.
