The series is based on the bibliography compiled by W illiam Weichlein. Most of the completed titles, available previously from OPUS Publications, now constitute the only complete version available to researchers today. The Répertoire Internationale de la Presse Musicale indexes musical periodicals of the 19th and 20th Century. Microfilm for these titles, once offered by OPUS, will now be available in a continuing program from Chadwyck-Healey. The Tams-Witmark Collection contains the piano-vocal scores from the Tams-Witmark Music Library Inc. (New York) collected in the Mill Music Library at the University of Wisconsin. Mann Library, Cornell University and The Faxon Institute In stitute organizers: Sam Demas & Jan Olsen, Mann Library; Peter Young, Faxon Institute Program : As information technology transforms scholarly communication, collection development librarians are called on to play a crucial role in academic library decision-making on electronic information.
