W agner Labor Archives. The Tam im ent Library’s collections form a unique center for scholarly research on the history of labor, socialism, anarchism, communism, and other radical political movements. Utopian experi­ ments, wom en's movements, struggles for civil rights and liberties, and other forms of radical activity are also documented in this growing collection. Although the focus of Tam im ent holdings is the United States since 1865, Great Britain, Canada, and other foreign countries are well represented in the collections. Collections include the Jewish Labor Com mittee archives, the Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives, the archives of the C om munications W orkers of America, and the personal papers of figures such as Eugene V. Debs. The Tam im ent Library staff includes six full-tim e archivists and one full-tim e librarian. Its collections include more than 20,000 monographs, more than 5,000 non-current periodicals, and subscriptions to more than 500 current titles.
