This position is responsible to the Head, Original Cataloging Department, one of a number of units that make up the Information Processing Center. The library is a member of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging and contributes to the NACO, BIBCO, and SACO programs. The successful candidate must have an understanding of current issues affecting visual resources cataloging in a rapidly changing information and technical environment and of trends in providing access to digital information, as well as experience in cataloging media of all kinds.
